I work with a young man who was a youth player under Eric at Shrewsbury.
He says he is a thoroughly nice guy, knows his stuff and could not say enough good things about him.

Not sure how much weight that carries in a higher division and being the head honcho outright. Many managers have tried and failed at the Albion.

Good luck and happy hunting to whoever gets the hot seat.

Ramsay and Mason have a lot in common. Few important differences are based around he will give youth a chance and he likes fast attacking football. These were what we were asking Mason for every week and he never delivered.
All we can do is see if he gets the gig and if he can get a few wins playing attractive football with a couple of youngsters thrown in.
Time will tell. Play well enough and a play off place is still a possibility.
