Sporting Predictions 2025
OK so I've had a good dig around and I can't see that I've accidentally shuffled predictions sideways in my spreadsheet.

It doesn't help that imgur decided they wanted no part of the UK online protection what not act and almost anything from early doors is no longer availale to view. I tend to overwrite my screen grabs before posting them but either I didn't overwrite the total screen grab or the macro didn't run properly to update the totals in post 219. If you count our yellow cells we've both got 16.

In post 197 I was two points behind SHEP, but since then I've picked up points for Norris and the LA Dodgers to draw us level. We both got Aussie points in The Ashes to put us level on 17 going into the darts and the AFCON.

Hope that's all sorted out now. I hate it when I don't get things right, I mean this is only bit of fun but it means so much amongst friends that have hardly met, and SHEP is back to maybe pick up his spoils. That's the most important thing. Thumb up

England finally won a game in the Two Day Test Series Darn Unda but too late to influence the points awarded.

Just checked on the Darts and maybe I should have checked sooner. We're all still in except themaclad. I can't fnd a Johnson that started the tournament and the only one I can find in a Google search is a 13 year old called Jack Johnson. Last 32 games are just starting on the 14th day of competition.

In the AFCON, the 2nd Round of Group Games continue this weekend with the 3rd Round starting on Monday and going up to New Years Eve. Egypt are the only side so far to win both opening Group games and are the first side to qualify for the next round.

I'll push the early doors 2026 Predictions out in the next few days, so start thinking about Aussie Tennis, 6 Nations Rugby, Winter Olympics, NFL Superbowl, T20 Cricket World Cup amongst others if you want to take part.

A lot will be similar to this year but there will be new one's coming in and some of this year's dropping out.

In the AFCON, my pick Camaroon lost to Morroco last Friday and Egypt have gone out tonight. Meaning SHEP and myself draw on 18 points but SHEP wins the tiebreaker as his guess of 158 points was closer than mine of 200 to Town's total at the end of last season of 122. Nigeria and Morrocco play each other this evening for a place in the final, with either AmChaff or SCO having a shout at a final point for the minor placings in the final on Sunday against Senegal, who none of us picked.

I'll post the full and final set of results on Monday (if I remember) once we know who won, but in the meantime it's congratulations to SHEP and a Rep point is coming your way for your efforts. Thumb up
