Northampton Town v Huddersfield Town

My sky issues have been going for a while. The app won't play a video only commentary and if I try on the laptop it just point blank refuses.

Tonight it was found on the laptop through other methods, it was a poor game, lacking any real quality, on balance we probably just about deserved to win. Bojan had a couple of tame efforts, Charles had a few conversions, both are going back to type. As soon as the change in formation was announced people on other sites who seem to disagree with every formation and team selection going were up to their usual things, but I think for the style and type of player we were coming up against, this formation was the right one, if anything eaves kept picking the wrong defender to go against as did for ah, but that's a a them problem.

Do I want 3-5-2 every game, nah, but on occasion yeah, do I think grant is on borrowed time, absolutely, he's lost too many fans now, he needs to suddenly start thrashing teams 3/4 home and away with complete performances to change I think now. I don't think he makes it through the season and it's when not if. Which makes me think logically, you get rid asap and let a new man assess before January. But when have we ever been logical, we sacked Moore, fotheringham and duff after the January window and allowed their replacements nothing

And somehow Grant has been put forward for Manager of the Month.

The time for action is now, no messing about. We are now 11 points behind Cardiff and 7 behind Bradford, both who have played a game less than us. We are 4 points adrift of the last play off spot Stevenage who have 2 games in hand on us. Even Bolton and Stockport above them have games in hand on us.

Only Plymouth (32) and Orient (30) have conceded more than Town in the Division this season (29)

Kev has thrown a load of cash at this team. By reckoning the Bojan/Charles/May and Taylor top £4million. Add on the likes of Sorrenson, Evans, Wiles,Balker and Roosken to that list and it’s not hard to see Grant is failing his owner.

Get rid of him now, get another man in for Xmas before it’s all too late

I'm with BT/EE and get Sky Sports (and Sports+) through Now TV. Normally reliable and I've just been boosted to big full fat fibre that's so fast if you blink you miss it, so no idea why it buffered and dropped out last night. Had to be their end. Listened to commentary, even if it's a minute or so out of whack on, my laptop on HTTV. It's a minute in front of Now TV usually rather than behind, showing how up to the second digital really is, but if you put the digital against analogue you can boil a kettle waiting for digital to catch up. So much for advanced engineering. I guess they bounce it round every satellite they've got up there before it lands back at a transmitter somewhere close to where it eventually ends up on a telebox, computer or a digital radio.

On the occassions when Radio Local gives us the digital frequency we can listen to, rather than the one we can't, in the Stadium, Oggy and Glennon are a minute behind there, so what I'm watching on Now TV might as well be ancient history. I get BBC goal notifications on my phone faster than I see them on the box. Still, it saves me having to watch the other 90 odd minutes of crap so I only need to watch the goals.

Technology eh? Anyone got any carrier pigeons?

I guess it all goes to prove that if there was a nuclear war and we got the so called 2 minute warning on our phones from the Government so you could kiss your @ss or loved one's goodbye, your head would already be stuck up your neighbour's @ss and your's would be in what's left of your other neighbour's house before you received it, never mind read it.

When the pictures went out for the second time, we put Oggy on the radio and switched the telly over to watch one of the other games. They were all out. All Sky Sports+ was off. So we can't blame them Cobblers for the lack of moving pictures.

When it did come back on, Oggy was about 30 seconds in front of Sky.

How many other ex-Managers is Kevin the Gerbil still paying though - does he want another one (plus staff) or will he hang in? Not seen or heard any of the ususal signs of doom yet (full backing of the board, etc, which means gone on Sunday) 2 games to get his finger out (which means gone on Wednesday) so far. On t'other 'and Wakey, you might have some inside info that we don't have. There's no pressure from the local press because we don't have any local press anymore and how much notice anyone takes of soshul meedja (them fools that are bigger than us on here) is open to whatever fool reads or writes it. Lot of clueless wonders on many of those sites in my opinion.

All I say is who do you want next, because I don't see much better in the revolving door that is The Sack Race? Anyone but who we've currently got is not the answer (see last season) and don't tell me you'd bring Colin back out of retirement again.

Aye, but you can also receive some version of Radio Local in Barnsalee using t'cats whiskers. You could receive 'em all given Sadfud were called off due to a water ski'ing event taking place at Port Vale.

Tony Mowbray or Nigel Pearson, agree the Warnock ship has well and truly sailed

I wouldn't argue with your first choice Wakey. I'll leave it at that, as my mum said .....

Mowbray for me has been ill and probably needs to be upstairs now. He was sacked from wba for being boring.

Nigel Pearson for me would give them the rocket needed.

But if I was picking and it's probably fanciful, Kevin muscat turned down rangers because he wanted to finish the season in asia, I think it has finished now. I get that feeling because Gus poyet walked out of his club after winning the double because of some disputes, he would also be on my list. I think will still will still be a top manager but I don't think he's right for us at this time.

I'd take boring and promoted. Didn't think Boro looked all that boring when he was there. At the moment we're boring and 8th or 9th. Manager of the month? They are having a giraffe, Shirley?

Ok (sorry mum) but Pearson has more baggage than a 747 full of legal immigrants. I can't find a barge pole long enough to be honest and where I live there's two canals about 300 yards either side of me.
