Sheffield United have signed Danny Ings on a free transfer after the former England striker was released by West Ham United earlier this summer.
The 33-year-old has agreed a one-year contract, with an option for an extension, following a short training period with the club.

Ings scored once in 15 Premier League games for the Hammers last season - one of only five in 69 appearances after signing from Aston Villa in January 2023.
"I've been keeping myself fit and I've just been waiting for the right opportunity," Ings told the Blades website, external.

Sheffield United have completed the signings of defenders Ben Mee and Mark McGuinness and a season-long loan deal for Ipswich winger Chiedozie Ogbene.
McGuinness joins on a four-year deal from Luton Town for an undisclosed fee, while Mee has signed a one-year deal following his release from Brentford, also for an undisclosed fee.
McGuinness, 24, a former Arsenal youngster who has previously had a loan spell with the Blades' Steel City rivals Sheffield Wednesday, was relegated from the Championship with Luton in his only full season at Kenilworth Road.
Seven of his 51 appearances for the Hatters have come in the early weeks of this season.
Ben Mee played 11 times for Brentford last season
Mee has penned a one-year contract with the option to extend after spending the last few weeks training with the Blades.
The 35-year-old came through the ranks at Manchester City and captained them to FA Youth Cup glory during the 2007-08 season before joining Burnley after a successful loan spell in 2012.
The former England Under-21 international made over 350 appearances in a decade with the Clarets before going on to play 62 times in three seasons with Brentford.
Chiedozie Ogbene has scored four goals in 24 games for the Republic of Ireland
Meanwhile, 28-year-old Ogbene has made nine appearances in all competitions for the Tractor Boys - with three this season - since joining the Championship club from Luton Town a year ago.
He has played 24 times for his country since making his debut four years ago, featuring for both Luton and Ipswich in the Premier League in that time.
The deal adds to the attack-minded signings that the Blades have brought in during the last week of the transfer window, including former Liverpool striker Danny Ings and former Manchester United midfielder Tahith Chong.
Ogbene told the club website, external: "It is an honour to be at a great club. I've lived here for four years, so I like to think I know what this club means to the people and the city. It is a huge honour to be here.
"I have a feeling about what Sheffield United means to the people, so to be part of it now and to be immersed into this club which has over 130 years of incredible history, and has a passionate fanbase, it is something I want to be part of."
