Have you heard the latest rumour

Please don't shoot the messenger as I have no links as I'm not on Twitter, but was listening to capital gold on the way home from the game today and Tom Ross said there was a rumour that Myhill, Lescott and Sessengnon were sent home before the match as they were involved in a dressing room 'kerfuffle' (Scrap).

They asked Bomber to find out but he wouldn't comment on it as he was still stuck up on the gantree (spelling)?

It would explain why Myhill was not on the bench at least and apparently Lescott is fit as he played 90 mins the other night.........NOT SAYING ITS TRUE but it's out there. Huh

So much for things being much better with Irvine. Some of the senior players in the squad were quick to dig their "it's not our fault" knives into Pepe when he had left the club and country but if this is true, it shows that there really are problems with the players and within the dressing room that no management team can sort out.

After a good summer of transfers and things looking bright again, it looks like things are going to start falling apart again.

Josh, I'm hoping this is total BS but its appeared from somewhere and was mentioned on air. I too was very angry with Irvine's appointment BUT after the signings I was quite excited, especially going up today just to see the starting 11.......then I was so very very disappointed when I heard it and saw the better players on the benchDoh

Everton were well dodgy at the back but we couldn't expose their vulnerabilities. Ideye looked lost. No Lescott despite playing 90 mins the other day, Gamboa and McCauley on the bench. Its mystifying to me because everyone seems to agree apart from Irvine himself that he got it way wrong, made his subs too late and appears to be clueless. I'm fed up of they're not fit, they havn't had a pre season etc. Utter bollocks. Just pick your best 11 FFS.

I am very worried at the moment and still quite angryCryAngry

I also hope it is not true because it will start to undo all the good work that the club did in the summer such as bringing back Terry Burton and signing quality players like Lescott, Ideye, Blanco and Varela.

As for Irvine, I was surprised when he was appointed but I wasn't angry because I read some good things about him such as his work with Everton's youth system. He has been given a very good squad and he needs to start utilising them to the best of their abilities. That means Irvine coming out of his comfort zone and being more brave with his team selections instead of taking the Hodgson and Clarke-esque safe option. If we continue with a midfield like we had today, then signing quality players like Blanco and Varela will have been absolutely pointless.

Lescott denies the rumour on Twitter.

Albion Radio were reporting before the game that Sess was not included due to an eye injury.  Maybe it was a black eye injury Whistle

what happens in a dressing room usually stays in the dressing room, the true facts would never get out, look at the crap Odem alleged, how much was real and how much for effect ................. no one knows what happens behind closed doors, don't panic.
