CHESTERFIELD SIGN ......

You can't have a full time nanny 24/7 for 1 plater unless of course he's gold dust.
Sometimes good players at a lower level are just that and can't make or handle the step up.
Over the years we've had a good few who showed promise only to fail on the big stage. Some of them have managed to get back on track after a few years hard work whilst others just stay on the fringes. Ricky German and Levi Amanchi spring to mind.
Drummond obviously has or had something but it seems his mates maybe come before his career.

Rumoured to be another 3 incoming before weekend. I would love one to be Pepple. Talk on Bobs of David bloody McGoldrick. Please let there be a god and a plague of locusts descend preventing him putting pen to paper.

OH Sh1T!!!!!

"Experienced pair Kyle McFadzean and John Fleck have both signed new deals with Chesterfield.

Midfielder Fleck, 33, has agreed a one-year contract extension after joining the Spireites from Blackburn Rovers shortly after the start of last season.

The Scotland internatiol made 20 appearances in all competitions as the club reached the League Two play-offs last season.

Former Coventry City defender McFadzean, 38, who also joined from Blackburn on a short-term deal in January, has also signed for next season."

Well we couldn't sign Mullin now even if I wanted him, could we? But he is a bit a million times better than McGoldrick.

Pepple looked dangerous, turned his man very well, but always seemed to be stumbling when running and he sometimes looked on the verge of panic when a chance came his way.

Oh God andnow we sign Zach Hemming a keeper I don't know from Middlesbrough. Has loan experience in Scotland and England. 25, 6' tall. I know nothing about him, but two goalies to compete for the place sounds like we are taking it seriously, but I remember when we signed a keeper to compete with Tommy Lee and Tommu was miles better than him with a seriously damaged shoulder .........

We are in overdrive. (Paul Mullin is in loan talks with Wigan FFS! I'd love us to sign Josh Koroma, Huddersfield are mental letting him go, but we are not good enough to compete even if he is still available ..... but Markanday, Koroma and Dobra in behind a good front man would terrify our opposition).

Northern Ireland international Lee Bonis about to sign according to Belgian press. If true that's some signing for us.

Belfast Telegraph mentions us "AMONG" the clubs.

12 goals in the Erevidse equates to maybe 10 if we are lucky in EFL2. Excuse my underwhelmedness.

So Bonis has signed from Den Haag. The fee is as ever undisclosed. Why do we never disclose fees these days?

Will Bonis be a bonus? Being a pessimist I'm not that hopeful about Dutch Div2 and Northern Ireland form, but the success of strikers is difficult to predict. I don't remember anyone predicting Eoin Doyle would get 20 by Christmas when we moved him up front ......

What do we need now?

A striker is only as good as the service. I think this is a good signing. Time will tell but he should get plenty of opportunities with Dobra and Markandy behind him.

Dibley-Dias has signed on loan from Fulham. Why all these Fulham deals?

He is 21 and struggled to get a game at Northampton last season. That doesn't mean much either way.

Good name for a children's cartoon character. Dibley-Dias the clever, thieving Jackal and Drogo the lazy, crackpot King Lion.

Strikers need service it is true. Being a Northern Ireland forward doesn't usually mean you get many chances on goal, but Dutch Div2 usually provides opportunities for goalscorers.

Dibley Dias played 4 games for Northampton and was injured for the rest of the season so not much time to impress.
Have read the link with Fulham is Dyer. No idea if it's true, squad shaping up nicely though.
