The CWC is an absolute joke. One game between two obscure nobodies had an attendance of less than one hundred.
Citeh beating Yer'dad amatuers 2-0 is laughable too. But, some people are getting very rich so who cares?

The tickets are probably overpriced and the crowds are down because who wants to go to a football game with the risk of being kidnapped by the government for no legitimate reason and then sent with a one way ticket to El Salvador.

Apparently Wednesday are also under a wage cap and can only offer free transfers up to 7k.per week.
Just a matter ofvtime before the points deduction is announced and players tear up their contracts.

The first test v India started today so my fingers are firmly in my ears regarding football until the season starts again in September
 It still starts second week in September doesn't it
