Pre season suicide watch Sheffield Wednesdayfc
Blackburn oxford and Pompey are interested in Lowe ...somebody sort this deal out immediately maybe the groundsman ? I can't remember what we paid for him which obviously means nothing with old zipper head but just get him out of the squad players like him kolbecki and Ugbo will use all this drama to just go through the motions a bit like the last we got relegated with monk and moore.

I don't know if anyone read or realized but we can now can only sign 2 of the 3 players who's contracts are in limbo ..Famweo Charlton interest Pato Hearts interest and Bannan nobody will touch with a barge pole due to his 40grand a week wage assuming we've offered him the same deal ! We also won't be able to resign or offer contracts to players who's contracts run out untill 2027 so that will mean losing the likes of Cadz otembongo and anyone else that might have a bright future ! And if he fails to pay the wages and foes the same next month all the players and staff are untitled to walk out on breach of contract which FIFA will enforce .

We're in the shit again. Familiar territory for most of us Wednesdays fans.
It's exhausting it really is with this absolute buffoon of an owner.
I feel for those living paycheck to paycheck that are affected. The bank doesn't care that your employer didn't pay you, the mortgage is still due.
That feeble apology that probably wasn't even from Chansiri to begin with is just further insult

We're going to lose any talent we have and won't be in the position to lure any talent back in.
League one here we come!

It's embarrassing that unpaid staff are having to contact the paper to pressure Chansiri for some clarity regarding their fking wages Doh

Absolute shitshow

He's also even if there is a light at the end of the tunnel and we get new owners with plans and money to burn impossible to manage, the transfer ban now will surely ward anyone with a business brain well away.
Come 2027 it is more than realistic that we will be in pub league 2 for the first time in our history.

So what are the possible short term outcomes to all this madness:

1. He sells the club to someone who will pay his daft price - not likely now!!
2. He cuts his price and sells - more likely
3. He puts the club into admin and we get bought on the cheap by someone. I actually saw a way this might work for Chansiri depending on what he owes to outside creditors.
4. Nothing changes, we can’t sigh any players for three windows and relegation is a virtual certainty!! This is the most likely option IMO.

Under #4 a lot of people will stop going based on the mood on OT. Therefore revenue will drop leading to #3. Minor player sales and tv money will only spin the plates so long. Also if he’s struggling getting a loan for the May fixed costs how is he going to fund June which include Tax payments and player bonuses for this season. And then of course I doubt the pitch remodels were paid upfront and local suppliers probably haven’t been paid either, I think #3 is the most likely on current status.

I think if there is someone with enough money and a LONG TERM plan the embargo may be negotiated and wouldn’t necessary put people off There’s a lot to be learned from what’s happened with Wrexham and ‘The Wednesday” brand is unique if the world of football (unfortunately for the wrong reasons at the moment) but provides a big opportunity. Even better if we got a new ground and got rid of the curse of the semi final debacle/albatross.

Again, late to the party as usual Doh we should have gone into admin when it was fashionable in the mid noughties.

Take a look at how most of those clubs (Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Ipswich, Leeds twice, Bum muff, Leicester, Southampton, the list goes on) have performed over the last 10 to 15 years compared to us Angry

I said it at the time and I still say it now, we should have taken admin 15 years ago before Milan (who's also dodgy as f'uck) 'rescued' us then sold us to this dodgy twatt.

People went on about third parties only getting a bit of what they were owed and it being doomsday. How can that have been worse than what's happening now ? We're not even paying the tea lady and have a transfer/registration ban with a points deduction to come Doh

Yes, some of the smaller teams disappeared but somehow I think that wouldn't have been our fate if we'd just done it before MM.

Well, at least there's plenty of single malt about. It's going to be a long summer.

There's some right bargains to be picked up at the moment, due to the manufactured cost of living crisis (well they did give above inflation pay rises for a bit and now they have to claw it back and put us in our place again), on the auction sites. It's a buyers market now and a few shrewd investments on some of the rarer bottles will come up trumps if you're prepared to hang on to it for a few years Thumb up

It will be relegation with DR the results were becoming wafer thin after Christmas and he struggled with this group of players and his own concentration after having his head turned. Apart from Bernard he does have a fit squad but the big hole is Charles in midfield who none of these players can replace. Like I've mentioned we should get rid of hangers on like Ugbo Lowe kolbecki as they will drag the team down and give these spots to the academy players which we do have and effort is going to be much more welcome than half arsed divas.
Rohl will have to change the system as well.and play with fewer defenders because we are one injury away from disaster so the less they all play the better having a fit body is going to be worth double next season. I would imagine he'll revert back to the way we played in his first season which will consist of getting the ball in the box more for Cadz and possibly Ugbo to actually have more chances although I think uGbo is cooked unfortunately so if he's not here then so be it ! Cadz will certainly be rubbing his hands because he gone from 5th choice to at least 2nd choice after smith if he doesn't leave that is !
