I can't see any sort of takeover materialising for us. Someone is going to need to pay above board just to buy out Chansiri. The necessary investment required on the pitch along with updating the club's infrastructure just doesn't seem profitable.

Just need someone rich enough that any losses are a tool for a minor tax write off against their profit making ones

All football is a loss it's how they launder money in this business..we unfortunately have '''zipperhead''' who can only launder money enough to stay in the game piss everyone off and only make enough to make a circle while laundering money .

Performance analyst. I would have done his.job for less and we mightve been able to powerwash the walls with the difference. . Few spreadsheets graphs and a bit of waffle, all just to say "You're sh*t"

Chansiri isn't letting go of his little laundromat. Whatever unscrupulous dealings he has elsewhere are clearly making it worthwhile holding on to a club that he claims he's both exhausted of supporting financially and fed up.of the abuse.
That's easy to resolve... accept the bid and do one!

A bit of a poo stirring article imo. Nobody bats an eyelid about player release clauses which are often an order of magnitude higher. .

It's expected at this stage of the season. Tabloids have very little to go on, other than speculation. Fabrication will always fill the gaps.

Quite honestly, 5m is peanuts as typical transfer fee in the modern game. I think it simply comes down to the unorthodox application of transfer fees for coaches/managers. It could start to set an unusual precedent where managers can be lured away from Clubs more easily?
