Koroma's futile late rush up the goal scoring chart netted another £1 each for ritchie and SHEP. That leaves us £2.50 short of £150 for the season before we get hammered by Orient next Saturday. If I'm right it looks like only ritchie is going to be looking for an Equity Release deal or a good result on his ISA's to pay off his total plus bonus £'s. Unless of course Orient play 11 ex-Wendies players next Saturday and they all score at least one each.

Koroma's futile late rush up the goal scoring chart netted a 4th consecutive £1 each for ritchie and SHEP. That left us £0.50 short of £150 for the season after we got hammered by Orient.

There are however a few brucie bonus's to add to the total.
ritchie kops for £15 for Town finishing 10th and AmChaff adds another £10 to her total for a top half finish. We didn't manage to keep Taylor and/or Charles fit however.

ritchie is once again the man most in need of a low interest rate bank loan, Thumb up with SHEP giving him a run for his money Thumb up until the bonus £'s kicked in.
Not much between the rest of us and whilst it may only be a £5'er this year, maybe it could be one of SCO's White Fivers he's got stashed in a cubby hole at the back of his garage or in his basement? Either way it has pushed us into £170+ territory and just shy of the £180 from two seasons ago.

Anyone who finds an unexpected few quid as you go diving down the back of the sofa or digging out the shorts you haven't worn since last summer and you'd like to donate a tad more is free to do so.

I'll do the Just Giving page things again sometime this (or next) week unless someone wants a rush-of-blood prediction on the Play-off's.

Cheers all. Thumb up Let's hope we all have a better summer than what we've seen on the pitch for the last two seasons.

I'd forgotten about jjamez and Koroma now being classed as a furriner, so there's £2 to add to his total. It was reading the retained list that jogged my memory so I went back and checked previous posts/results. Sorry.

Just Giving Pages now live so get yer hands in yer back pockets and darn the back of yer sofas.

Town Foundation - https://www.justgiving.com/page/theo-lud...mpaign=015
YAA - https://www.justgiving.com/page/theo-lud..._source=CL
Jordan Sinnott - https://www.justgiving.com/page/theo-lud...mpaign=021

Took about 10 attempts to get them all to work and I'm sure I've donated once to one of them (though it doesn't show) so I'll keep an eye on my bank/card balances.

Issues might be related to me trying to donate to a former colleague's Charidee in Canada. Though it never stopped me before.

Nice work, theo. Her Ladyship has just done ours. Mine to the ambulances and hers to Jordan.

Thanks Snoots and Amchaff for showing at least two of the links work. Thumb up

Almost everytime I went back to check the pages I'd set up they shut them down, particuarly the Foundation page. Daft thing is, each time I reset it it had the same web address. No, me neither.

I paid to the Foundation once and then they killed the page. I'm leaving it a couple of days before I try to pay again. Want to see what my bank account says.

Enjoy the sun while it lasts folks.

Two good play-off games so far Cov-v-Blunderland and Orient-v-Smogport. We should have at least been there for one of them.

Revised totals

Thanks again one and all, see you again in August hopefully, or more likely July for your initial predictions.

Donation to YAA made just now. Well done, theo, on your efforts to organise all this for the charities. Here, have this tennis racket for your services.  Laugh Very old joke from ISIRTA.

Personally, I'd drop the Foundation. I've been a big fan and I jumped out of a plane for them. However, I don't think it's what it was; either because Mandy died or Deano not as present. Who knows?

Received the following email from YAA this afternoon

Hi there

Hope you are well?

I wanted to email to say thank you for setting up the Just Giving page Players for Pounds which I understand you do for us every year.

We really appreciate you doing this. Did you need any further support from us at all?

Good luck with your fundraising!

Kind Regards,

Kerry Dwyer

Director of Public Fundraising

I've replied as follows ...

Hello Kerry,

many thanks for the email, it's good to know our efforts at fund raising on your behalf are appreciated. Funds raised are shared between yourselves, The Huddersfield Town Foundation and the Jordan Sinnott Foundation and each "Pundit" chooses where to allocate the funds they raise through the season as Huddersfield Town raise our hopes only dash them again. We probably wouldn't be Town fans if we were a really succesful club.

I'll post a copy of your email on our forum if that is OK with you? I copy lnks to your newsletters and campaigns when I receive them.

In terms of assistance - if you can put the word round amongst any other Town/Football fans you may know of who'd be willing to take part, we'll be going again next season shortly after the fixture lists are announced.

(link to the OP)

Above is a link to this season's mayhem, which you are free to share with anyone you think might be interested, or anyone who spends too much time on their phone/laptop looking for conspiracy theories, when they could be doing something far more useful instead.

We could do with a few more Yorkshire men/women or football fans from afar with long arms, short pockets and fat wallets joining in this and otherwise contributing to the forum. Supporters from other clubs are welcome - there's a diverse bunch on there. We're not proud, we'll gladly take money off Leeds and Bradford fans. We took some off a Sheffield Wednesday fan this season. Not much admittedly but we got some.

I wish you all well at YAA on behalf of everyone who takes part in Players for Pounds on the Sports Babble forum and I hope you all have a quiet relaxing weekend, but given the weather we're having I've a feeling the lads and lasses in the chopper and elsewhere might be a tad busy.

all the best,

That reminds me, I need to allocate my funds too. My first attempt failed for some reason.

Done mine

£10 to Town Foundation, £12 to YAA.
