Blackpool have signed West Bromwich Albion defender Zac Ashworth for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal.
The 21-year-old Wales Under-21 international is the son of sporting director Dan Ashworth.
He had a loan spell in League One with Bolton Wanderers last season and scored two goals in 16 league appearances.
“Blackpool is a massive club and this is a great opportunity for a fresh start," he told the club website.

Blackpool have signed Middlesbrough wing-back Hayden Coulson and West Bromwich Albion defender Zac Ashworth for undisclosed fees on three-year deals.
Coulson, 26, spent the second half of last season on loan with the Tangerines and scored twice in 17 League One appearances.

Blackpool have signed midfielder Lee Evans on a two-year deal.
The 29-year-old joins the Seasiders following the expiration of his contract with Portsmouth, who he signed for in March this year.
He has achieved four promotions out of League One with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Wigan Athletic and Ipswich Town.
"It's a really nice feeling, I'm delighted to be here and become a Blackpool player," Evans told Blackpool's website, external.
"It's an exciting challenge, and speaking to Neil Critchley [the Seasiders' head coach], he sold that challenge to me of trying to get out of this league. With the club just missing out on the play-off's last season, it's had a chance to build and then kick on again this coming season, which I am proud to be a part of."
The former Wales international had previously expressed a desire to stay with Pompey.

Blackpool have signed defender Elkan Baggott on a season-long loan from Premier League side Ipswich Town.
The 21-year-old spent the latter half of the 2023-24 campaign on loan in League One with Bristol Rovers.
An Indonesia international, Baggott has won 24 caps and also previously played on loan for King's Lynn, Gillingham and Cheltenham Town.
"It's a great feeling to finally be here and I'm excited to play my part in what will hopefully be a successful season for the club," he told Blackpool's website., external

Blackpool have signed midfielder Elliot Embleton for an undisclosed fee from Championship club Sunderland.
Embleton has agreed a two-year contract with the Seasiders, with whom he spent a successful loan spell in 2021.
The 25-year-old played 21 times and scored two goals for Blackpool that year as they were promoted from League One in the play-off final at Wembley.
Now he has been reunited with manager Neil Critchley after leaving his boyhood club where he made almost 100 appearances.
"I need to get back playing football and I’ve got such happy memories here, where I feel like I played well and we ultimately ended up getting promoted," he told the club's website, external.

Blackpool have signed forward Dom Ballard from Southampton on a season-long loan.
The England Under-19 international spent last season on loan at Reading and scored five goals in 12 matches before a serious knee injury ruled him out for the rest of the campaign in November.

Blackpool have signed goalkeeper Harry Tyrer on a season-long loan from Premier League side Everton.
The 22-year-old joins the Seasiders having helped Chesterfield to the National League title and promotion back to the English Football League last season.
Tyrer, who is yet to make a full senior appearance for the Toffees, arrives at the club after fellow goalkeeper Daniel Grimshaw left Blackpool to join Plymouth Argyle.

Blackpool have signed Middlesbrough winger Sammy Silvera on loan until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old joined Portsmouth on a season-long loan deal in July but Boro have cut it short to send him to the League One side instead.
The England-born Australia international could make his debut for the Seasiders against promotion-chasing Huddersfield on Saturday.

Blackpool have signed Shrewsbury midfielder Tom Bloxham for an undisclosed fee on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
The 21-year-old scored eight goals in 106 league appearances for the Shropshire side.
The Seasiders have the option to extend Bloxham's contract by an additional 12 months.
He could make his debut for Steve Bruce's side against promotion-chasing Huddersfield on Saturday.

Blackpool have signed forward Niall Ennis on loan from Championship side Stoke City for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old joined the Potters from Blackburn Rovers in early 2024 and has made 26 appearances for the club during that time.
Ennis has played 12 games for Stoke this season, including most recently against Portsmouth on 22 January, and scored one goal, an extra-time FA Cup winner at Sunderland.
"I'm buzzing to be here and I'm looking forward to working with Steve Bruce as he has a lot of wisdom and experience having worked in the Premier League," Ennis told the club website.
