Lavery has been shit hot once - against L**ds!! We may see what he is made of latewr this season or next but I am not convinced he is any better than the rest!!

You are dead right though, we need a new manager to work with the team, see what they have, get rid of the shit and bring in some new faces. This needs to happen asap for me so that we do not waste the summer and start of next season trying to work out what we have!!!

Lavery had a few good games last season, Leeds and Birmingham to name 2 off the top of my head

But, Nuhiu had all last season with the club and has been given chance after chance this season. May, on the other hand, it's his first season with the club. Yes, we all wish May had performed better, but to place him in the same category as Nuhiu is stretching it. Madine, as has been pointed out, has not been allowed to show what he can do by SG.

Yes Nuhiu had all of last season, but it didn't stop Wednesday fans saying he was shite last season at this time.  I would venture that Nuhiu probably did better in his first season than May has in his, either way they have both been pretty shite!!!  Also May has only come from Scotland, he  shouldn't be struggling with the language or culture like Nuhiu had to learn, so I would cut him less slack anyway.

What pisses me off is how all these people seem to want to bend over backwards making excuses for Nuhiu. When we had crap players in the past (Joc and Franny for instance) people were down on them like a ton of bricks. For some reason when it comes to nuhiu the excuses flow like a lactating tit. He holds up the ball, he puts in a shift, now he's in a foreign country ? Ffs!! It's because of all this horse manure that I find myself constantly having to point out the obvious. He's lousy at doing what he gets paid to do. Scoring goals. Only MS seems to be able to get that. If there was a bit less defending of this totally useless signing by DJ on here I might not have to keep redressing the balance. He's not up to it. Should never have been signed. It's a shame because he might be a lovely bloke. Show him the door and let's move on.

No, MS can see that Nuhiu has his benefits and his draw backs. I never bend over backwards making excuses either, in fact I'm quite open in admitting we need better players than what we have, but until we have these new players we have to utilise what we have

That's cleared it up thurny. So we both agree that he's not another Ronaldo? A contender for the Baltic States First eleven? Laugh Laugh

Yep I'd agree that we both reckon we need better where we disagree is whether he should be playing.

I've said it a few times over the past couple of weeks, mine and yours opinions are not that different

That is it. He had two decent games.

He won't make Wednesday's starting eleven again unless we go back to L1.

Even on loan at Chesterfield he has been dropped to the bench for the last two matches. He won't be good enough for anything more than back up & is way behind May, Keane or Madine.

Sad thing is for the lad, we should now be in a position to attract better youth prospects as well as senior players. Lavery isn't going to get regular first team football with us. He should be one of the exodus allowed to move on really, unless he wants to stay as a backup player, knowing only an injury to a first choice player gives him any game time.

I'd like to think we could sign Keane, that possibly he could formulate a bright, young partnership with May (Once he gets his mojo back)

Madine needs a (final) chance before he goes. I strongly expect Nuhui to be a free agent soon

Whilst I agree with everything you say, none of what you say will happen with SG as manager.

Madine will not get a chance, Nuhui will not be released and Keane will not sign for us.

Now if SG leaves, everything could be different.

He said yesterday that PL clubs were not allowing their players to go out on loan. Did he not spot Bent & Ince at Derby & I see Knockhart joined Ipswich yesterday.
