Group A
Twerton 14
Amelia 8
Themaclad 5
A.A.A. 2
Zinman 0
Minizin -2
Well after posting the lowest total score of the season last week, Group A thought they would go a bit deeper and post an even lower score this week. Again like last week there was one outstanding performance, this week that was from Twerton who scored a decent 14 points courtesy of a CR on the Gamball and scoring on 6 other games as well. Shame he, like everyone else missed out on the Bonus or he would have posted an excellent score.
Amelia equaled her best score of the season with 8 points, like Twerton she got a CR on the Gamball but not as much else. Themaclad managed a weeks high 2 CSs but missing on the Gamball and the Bonus kept his score down to 5 points. AAA was 4th with just 2 points, he missed on all his balls but did at least manage 1 CS to keep his score positive.
Then we have the Zins, and I am not referring to the Seven Deadly Zins winery in Lodi, CA, that I had the pleasure of touring today (yes I know it’s completely irrelevant but I did have fun wine tasting!!), but the Mini and Man versions!! The Man Zin didn’t trouble the scoreboard with a might zero and the Zin Mini becomes the first Group A player to record a negative score with -2. Definitely a week for them to “wine” about their performance!!
72 Themaclad
62 Twerton
39 A.A.A.
38 Minizin
38 Amelia
29 Zinman
Themaclad’s lead is cut into by Twerton but the two of them are now way ahead of the rest!! AAA moves up to 3rd after Minizin’s negative points haul, and Amelia is now level on points with him as well. Zinman’s big fat zero sees him once again rooted to the bottom.
As we have seen for ever the playing of the balls is crucial if you want to succeed at this simple game. This is illustrated perfectly at the moment in Group A. Themaclad is 43 points ahead of Zinman, and guess what………..he is also 41 points better off on his balls than Zinman is!! This is not a coincidence!!
Cheers

BBB 4
SCO 4

BaggieOne -5
Shall we just pretend the weekend never happened and just move on?
What carnage! Group B managed to generate minus 1 point in total - just 1 positive gamball, a wipe out on bonuses and a couple of negative score balls to add to the week's misery. Probably the lowest total of all time. Just 2 players added to their overall points total and we had one solitary correct score.
BBB and SCO share top spot with a truly magnificent 4 points. BBB got he only correct score while SCO was the only player to predict a Norwich win on the gamball. Everyone else should look away now.
Snooty managed 2 correct results but blew all his balls including a negative scoreball. Derby, Stairs and Lady Jane all managed just 1 correct result but at least gained the scoreball point while BaggieOne managed to achieve the lowest possible score - no correct predictions and all his balls testing negative.
Truly, a week to forget.
73 Lady Jane
52 Derby
49 Stairs
49 BBB
47 Snooty
41 SCO
39 BaggieOne
I think it's fair to say that nobody climbed the table this week, instead a few went backwards. Snooty dropped below BBB and BaggieOne chose to take over at the bottom of the table, kindly letting SCO move ahead of him!
