Crawley have signed goalkeeper Eddie Beach on a season-long loan from Chelsea.

Beach began his career in Southampton's academy before joining Chelsea in 2022 where he is yet to play a first-team game.

The 20-year-old has spent time on loan with National League South side Chelmsford and last season at Gateshead, in the fifth tier.

Beach comes into Crawley's squad following his return from Chelsea's pre-season tour in the USA.

Crawley Town have signed Tola Showunmi from Louisville City on a two-year deal.

The 24-year-old striker made 10 appearances and scored twice for the Kentucky-based club.

He previously played for Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

Showunmi becomes Crawley's 16th summer signing since the club was promoted to League One.

The Reds began the new season with a 2-1 league win over Blackpool, before beating Swindon Town 4-2 in the first round of the Carabao Cup.

Crawley Town have signed midfielder Bradley Ibrahim on loan from German club Hertha Berlin for the rest of the season.

The 19-year-old began his career at Queens Park Rangers before moving across London to become part of Arsenal's academy.

He captained the Gunners in the 2023 FA Youth Cup final and also made five appearances for the under-21 side in the EFL Trophy.

Ibrahim moved to Germany to join second-tier Hertha in January but has yet to play for their first team and will return to England next week.

Crawley Town have signed Millwall goalkeeper Connal Trueman on a seven-day emergency loan.

The Red Devils' first-choice goalkeeper Joe Wollacott is away on international duty while his understudy Eddie Beach is injured.

Under EFL rules, clubs can lend a goalkeeper on an emergency basis outside of the transfer window should they have no senior cover.

Trueman, 28, has yet to make a first-team appearance for Millwall since joining from Birmingham City in the summer of 2022.

He played 15 times for Blues and also had loan spells at Solihull Moors, AFC Wimbledon, Swindon Town and Oxford United.

Trueman is set to feature in Crawley's EFL Trophy game with AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday and the club's League One game with Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.

Crawley Town have signed Derby County central defender Ben Radcliffe for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal.

The 21-year-old moved to the Rams from Burton Albion in the summer of 2023 but struggled to force his way into the first team at Pride Park.

His only senior appearance came as a substitute in an EFL Trophy match in September 2023.

Radcliffe spent the first half of this season on loan at National League side Gateshead where he scored twice in 17 league appearances.

"He is a very good young defender, who I first took on loan at Gateshead at the start of the season," Crawley boss Rob Elliot told the club website.

"He is big, strong and comfortable on the ball. He always wants to get on the ball but defends really well first and I am hopeful that he can be a great asset for the club.

"He's a great lad, with good character, so I think he will fit into the group really well."

Crawley Town have signed Brentford goalkeeper Matthew Cox, external on loan until the end of the season and Barrow defender Rory Feely for an undisclosed fee.

Former AFC Wimbledon stopper Cox, 21, made 34 appearances on loan at Bristol Rovers last season.

Feely, 28, moves to Broadfield Stadium on a one-year contract, external after scoring two goals in 66 appearances for the Bluebirds.

Crawley are without a win in seven matches and are second from bottom in League One.

Crawley Town have signed Canada international Liam Fraser on a free transfer.

Fraser, 26, most recently played for Major League Soccer side FC Dallas and joins the League One club on a six-month deal.

The former Toronto FC defensive midfielder has also represented Columbus Crew and Belgian club Deinze.

Fraser has 19 international caps and becomes Rob Elliot's fifth signing of the winter transfer window.

Crawley Town have signed Hull City goalkeeper Thimothee Lo-Tutala on an emergency seven-day loan., external

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Doncaster Rovers, where he made 18 appearances.

The Reds host Bristol Rovers at Broadfield Stadium on Saturday (15:00 GMT) in Scott Lindsey's first match back at the club since returning as manager.

Lindsey led Crawley to League Two promotion last season before leaving for MK Dons in September.

His replacement Rob Elliot was sacked on Wednesday with the Sussex club facing relegation from League One, with Lindsey's return announced early on Friday morning.

Crawley Town have signed Portsmouth goalkeeper Toby Steward on an emergency seven-day loan.

The 20-year-old has already spent parts of this season on loan at National League South club Tonbridge Angels and National League outfit Wealdstone, making 18 appearances in total.

Steward becomes the Red Devils' third emergency goalkeeper to arrive at the Broadfield Stadium in the past month, following seven-day loan moves for Hull City's Timothee Lo-Tutala and Bolton's Luke Hutchinson.

With three senior goalkeepers all unavailable to Crawley boss Scott Lindsey, Steward is expected to start against League One champions Birmingham City at St Andrew's on Good Friday.

Relegation-threatened Crawley have been unable to name a goalkeeper on their bench since the 4-3 defeat at Bolton Wanderers on 8 February.

They currently sit 22nd in League Two, six points from safety with four matches remaining.

Crawley Town midfielder Jeremy Kelly is one of six players who have been offered new contracts following the club's relegation from League One.

The 27-year-old American scored four goals in 44 appearances in all competitions this season.

Kelly joined the club at the end of the winter transfer window last year from FC Tulsa.

Also in negotiations over a new contract are Dion Conroy, Harry Forster, Liam Fraser, Ryan Sandford and Joy Mukena.

Strikers Tyreece John-Jules and Sonny Fish, as well as goalkeeper Jasper Sheik, have been released.

The rest of the club's 18 players are already under contract for next season.
