I tend to believe a different theory.......alien abduction. What else can possibly explain Brown Ideye suddenly looking the complete centre forward, Chris Brunt turning into a competent left back and Tony Pulis embracing entertainment? Excellent today, as was Wednesday. Best comment I've read from one West Ham website was that Brown Ideye's performance was possibly the best they've seen from an opposition player this season.

2 things about Brunt and the incident with Amalfitano -
Well done, Brunty, for not going down as if he'd been kicked in the face by a horse, when MA gave him a little push. Loads of players would have been looking for an Oscar there.
But did you notice that he then hung around making a nuisance of himself - and Lescott came and steered him away with an arm round the shoulders. Who's the captain there?

See what you mean BV , but when any player - even a captain - is provoked /pushed in that way, it's hard to stay detached from it......heat of the moment stuff. Someone not involved - in this case Lescott - can always remain cooler and more logical

Sensing a dig at individuals for their stance on Ideye's early form.
Tell me. What is your thoughts on Tony Pulis?

'Ten man Hammers thrashed by West Brom' BBC Sport
What a surprise.
They were 3-0 down before Alf got sent off!
If any BBC types are watching..............
'Favourites West Ham given a lesson in football, followed by a thrashing then one of them loses his rag because he can't get near the ball so he assaults a player and gets sent off but that doesn't stop the humiliation'
Headlines are a piece of piddle, you just need a wider screen.
