Premier League
Dingle 13
Zinman 12
Minizin 8
Derby 7
Blue B 7
B.B.B. 7
Stairs 7
Lady J 4

Another non-descript week in the PL with no outstanding scores from any player. Dingle finds himself in a rare top spot with 13 points, he scored positive points on 6 games including 2 CSs and had he been able to convert his balls could have been on for a very good score!! Zinman continues his good form in 2nd place with 12 points. He managed to gain points on all his balls but not much else!! Minizin is 3rd on 8 points, he was the only player to get a spot on Gamball and then proceeded not to add anything to this!!

Four players all ended on 7 points - Derby, Blue, BBB and Stairs - nothing much to say about any of these, one got a CR on the Gamball, 2 got CRs on the bonus and Blue was the only one to get a CS, in fact he managed 2.

Lady Jane brings up the rear for the second week in a row with just 4 points. She did manage one CS but this was cancelled out by her missing on all her balls!!

182 Zinman
162 Derby
160 Blue Baggie
160 Minizin
149 BBB
147 Stairs
126 Dingle
122 Lady Jane

Only one real change in the table this week due to the closeness of the scoring. Zinman though has stretched his lead at the top to 20 points, he is on fine form just like the Villa!!! Whistle . Derby, Blue and Minizin are now separated by just 2 points. Bit of a gap down to BBB, who now has Stairs snapping at his heels.

Dingle is off the bottom for the first time in weeks, makes him just like my resurgent Owls!!! Lady Jane though is now on the bottom, did she change manager and bring in Shrek when she was in the top 3 earlier this season??

After talking last week about the poor numbers on the Balls it was good to see everyone took this to heart and really gave some thought to their Bonus Ball play. Doh Three players got a CR on it this week but the rest failed again, this now means that in the PL the Bonus Ball is producing a grand total of -3 points with only 3 players in positive territory!!!

Cheers

Championship

Snooty      14
Twerton      11
Themaclad  9
SCO            9
Sanjay        5
BaggieOne  3
AAA            2

When I selected this week's fixtures, I though that it could be a low scoring week and so it proved. It would have been considerably worse had it not been for a higher than average proportion of correct scores, 3 of which were on bonus balls. It didn't help that scoring on the gamball meant forecasting a Villa win, something most of us hate to do.

Usually, scoring on the gamball will get you a place towards the top of the table, but not this week. Snooty lost the gamball point but made up for it with a maximum bonus and one other correct score to match his points total from last week. Twerton had a similar week but one less correct prediction and missing out on the scoreball leaves him 3 points off top spot but at least in double figures.

Themaclad and SCO share 3rd place with 9 points. Themaclad was the 3rd player to max out the bonus while SCO only scored on 3 balls but as 2 of them were the gamball and bonus, he at least secured a respectable score. Sanjay's struggles continued, just 5 points and again losing points on the main balls.

BaggieOne scored on the gamball but not a lot else, only predicting 2 correct results. AAA  has been on a poor run recently and this continued - just 2 correct results but he did at least save a point by not playing the gamball (small consolations!)

162 Snooty
157 Twerton
150 SCO
135 AAA
125 Themaclad
121 BaggieOne
73 Sanjay

With this weeks top 2 also being the overall leaders there's no change at the top. SCO has opened up a bit of a gap in 3rd place as the battle for promotion hots up. There is a positional change towards the foot of the table where Themaclad and BaggieOne swop positions. Is it too soon to predict that Sanjay won't be going up this year?

Not much to say about the stats this week though it was the 2nd highest bonus score this season bringing the total for the Championship from this ball up to minus 42!
