THE LAST KICK OF THE MATCH COST ME AN EXTRA 2PTS ON THE WREXHAM MATCH... But what I really like is the hustle between me and SCO, because whenever i think i have crawed back points on his lead, he comes up with correct scores or his GB is a correct score - he's playing a canny game - good on him.
Still there's a few more plays to the finish eh!
Aside, I'm surprised with Sanjay, as he given me a good battle in the past, and he seems to lost his touch - come on Sanjay you are better than that.

Division One results for Matchday 18: Very tight scoring this week in Division 1, with theo coming out on top on 16 points. That's followed by a four way tie of SCO, Bob, neon and jjamez, all on 14. With themaclad bringing up the rear this week with 10 points. Which all means that there's no change at the top, but at the bottom, it's extremely tight.
Neonfoxinthebox has dropped into the automatic relegation place for the first time this season. He's only a single point behind theo, with Mac being 5 points further ahead, meaning there's just six points separating the bottom three.
So after this we have just three more Matchdays to come for this season. They will be Matchdays 19, 20 and 21, with Matchday 21 being the Boxing Day fixtures, signalling the close of play. That will be followed by a two legged Play Off between 5th in Div 1 and 2nd in Div 2, with the winner taking a place in the next season's Division 1. The two legs for the Play Offs will be for the fixtures on the Twixtmas weekend games (Town v Boro) and then the New Years Day games (Leicester v Town)..
The new season will start with the FA Cup weekend, which is a change from the original idea, but I'm sure we all want to put our own spin on the Man City away game.

Division Two results for Matchday 18: A superb 30 pointer from Shep this week, including three correct scores, gives him top score again. Slightly too late, but his current predicting form should give hope for a tilt at the title in the next season (starting in the New Year).
Two players missed out on predicting this week. Ritchiebaby and Amelia both missed out with ritchie's scores defaulting to 0-0 on the Random Score Generator and Amelia's defaulting to 1-0. It was Amelia who got the best of that deal, scoring 18 to ritchie's 8. However, despite that reasonably good score for Chaffers, it meant that Shep has now drawn level with her at the foot of the table.
Ritchie's poor score means that Wakey Terrier has moved into 2nd place, the coveted Play Off spot. Wakey though has announced that he's off away again and has requested a Roadie's Souncheck of scores swapping between 1-2, 2-1, 1-2, 2-1 for the next two weeks. So if ritchie gets his scores posted in time, he should be able to make up that 4 point deficit. But you never know. Predicting can be unpredictable at times.
Just below, sitting in 4th place, waiting for a slip up above him, is Devongone, just 13 points behind ritchiebaby.
Oh and Snooty's lead at the top is now 42 points. Adopt Smug Mode. Smug mode adopted.

Plenty of time, Snooty, plenty of time. Been doing my Santa rounds near and far this weekend (after curling duties, of course).

Alfreton v Walsall is playing tonight. I shall include it in this Matchday seeing as it's being played before the next Matchday starts.
And I've got my joker riding on it.

Division 2 updated after tonight's 0-0 draw between Alfreton and Walsall.
Snooty got minus 2 points for an incorrect joker. Ritchiebaby scored 4 points for his correct 0-0 and so levels up with Wakey at 2nd= in the table.
