A week to go and our squad is possibly worse than when we finished the season in L1

Somehow the Chairman expects big things with that. Most of the fan base seem more pissed off than happy with the current situation.
Citing various issues that point at the same old crap.
The other side of the city will be laughing at us for years to come. We aren't going to catch up and they're going to continue to become richer.

Pol Valentín looks like a definite signing we now have 3 new players with pace ..hope they can speed bazza up and get him away from bazza ball ?

Need to sign someone other than defenders. Midfield and forward squad depth is as thin as Barry's hair line.

From what I am reading I think all three new signings will play in front of the defence. Up front we now have Fletcher, Smith, Gregory, Windass and Wilkes, not sure we need to add to that. Essentially our possible starting 11 is the same 11 that finished last season, so irrespective of the manager it was always going to need strengthening. I am glad Xisco seems to be deciding who we get.

Pol now confirmed!! Decent signing and slightly younger at 26 than what we usually go for!!

We can only hope this is the idea.

Smith is really poor as is Wilkes and at this level they're a waste of squad spots.
It'd be nice if they prove me wrong by banging in loads of goals. It isn't going to happen though.
Windarse seems to play better out wide or just behind the front two I think.

Surprised Pol Pot wasn't announced yesterday or this morning given the rumours.

If Xisco goes 4231 like he has before then it will be interesting to see who he picks and where. I still think Wilkes could come good, he has played in the Championship before but he needs to get his head down and stay clear of the negative shit around him.

Delgado and Valentín should see the end of of palmer and and Johnson from the way I see it ..both will have to be on there game or revert to defending palmer obviously the better defender .

Pol pot pmsl hopefully we've got a witty song ready pmsl .

We can still sell players by the way Wednesday Johnson smith iorfa and palmer would all be on my list at the moment ..

A few Spaniards have commented on Owls social media about Pol Pot, one saying he's very fast but not very good with his feet. Usually better coming on as a sub and playing RW.
