Summer Rebuild 2023/24 Season
It's just going to be an endlessly repeating cycle.

So far a handful of kids have signed on.
It's good to blood youngsters but that should've been done in L1 not the Championship where most of them will be eaten alive.
Other Clubs are making serious moves to bolster their squads and the chairman thinks we can do it with kids as we struggle to get old man Deeney through the door.

That 10 tear ticket is a good deal, if you can afford it of course. Unless we get a serious stroke of luck we will not be near the PL for a few seasons, so this will turn it into a 15 year plus ST as a minimum. While there may be a cost of living crisis, it’s certainly not stopping people still spend the money they do have, it will be interesting to see how many he shifts.

This transfer window is so slow across the board, very few teams in the Championship are making many moves and a number have yet to sign anyone. At some point its going to get crazy or we are going to see a lot of youngsters playing in this division for a lot of teams.

People are still spending bits and bobs but they're not dropping £5k+ at a time.
It's entirely the wrong demographic to be shilling these tickets to whether it's seen as a good deal or a bad deal.

As for the football. If we don't start signing some decent players sharpish I might change my mind about not being relegated.
They've just been played off the park again and made to look like an U-16 team in a training game.

The same man selling expensive tickets for a delusional promise of a return to the promised land is the same man who also thinks these absolute amateurs can make the Playoffs.
Other Clubs have heavily invested within the structure of their Clubs and squads.
So far, nearly every team in the Championship has made one solid signing.
Check the Beebs 'transfers' page and you'll see how we're late as usual to the party

It's just such a shame that we can't function like a normal Club and work towards moving forward.

There's a ceaseless, stunted and dysfunctional culture at the Club and it stems from one place.
The fault lay squarely at the feet of the same man whom keeps reminding everyone it's 'His' football Club until someone buys him out.
Which he facetiously knows no fker can or will.

It's pointless to happy clap and support this nonsense. Truthfully, what will "keeping the faith" accomplish?
Will it make Chansiri suddenly learn to function normally? Will it fix any of the glaring issues at the Club, the same issues we've repeatedly addressed season after season?

Obviously not or it would've worked by now.
It's going to be the same old, desperate last minute knee jerk desperation signings at the 11th hour for us, then another two months bedding them in...

Playoffs though.

Our manager doesn't think we're ready for the challenge Laugh

That's 3 friendlies in a row without being able to score either...

Yep he's taken a look and thrown the towel in ..can't blame him ..it's a pub league team with a premier league ballet dancer in the middle of it all .

Luke Dowling will take over as technical director ..this has took the clown nearly a month to sort out ffs ..maybe now we have some players that will come with his advantage .
Ex west Brom Watford blah blah ..there all the same to me none are above or below there job ..rats in suits !!!

We are also linked with a crap keeper but off experience button ex second fiddle west Brom and Fulham ..rather have him than drop a clanger when you least need it BFP !!!

So possibly the new TD might save the clowns arse at least for relegation.

He's going to be very busy, everyone always having to operate with one arm tied behind their back.

It's going to be has beens and cast offs.
I doubt we'll even utilise the loan market from EPL youngsters.

Having a technical director surely has to be better than not!! He might not be the best out their but then neither are we. I woud imagine he will be more clued up on some potential loans if nothing else.

We were always only ever getting has beens and cast offs, we are not spending anything on transfer fees and with the number of OOC players we shouldn't have to. Top 6 is a stupid thing to say by DC, typical of him to try to use crap statement to placate the fans but it doesn't work. Survival is our one and only goal this season, we have the core of a squad to do that now but if we want to make sure we need 4/5 players.
