I can't see Koroma being here next season, he has 3 other offers from Championship clubs, One of those will easily be offering him more money than us. One just missed out on the play offs and the other just got promoted from League One

Quote:We can confirm that we are talking to the representatives of Danny Ward and Josh Koroma, alongside B Team player Luke Daley, about new contracts with the Club, with their current deals running out at the end of June 2023.

Several senior players will depart the Club with our thanks and best wishes at the conclusion of their current contracts.

Josh Ruffels and Tomáš Vaclík leave having made vital contributions in our successful efforts to retain our Sky Bet Championship status under Neil Warnock.

Florian Kamberi also departs at the end of his short-term contract, whilst Rolando Aarons leaves after two-and-a-half years at the Club.

Four players who have been out on loan this season – Ryan Schofield, Matty Daly, Romoney Crichlow and Danny Grant – will also depart the Club.

Six loanees return to their parent clubs; Joseph Hungbo, Matthew Lowton, Martyn Waghorn, Tino Anjorin, Anthony Knockaert and Jordan Smith.

We have taken our options to extend the contracts of B Team players Charles Ondo, Ben Midgley, and Michael Stone into the 2023/24 season, whilst Under-19 defender Archie Sheppard has been offered a third-year scholarship contract.

10 players across the B Team and Under-19 groups will not be offered a new contract and will depart the Club. Thank you to all of them for their contribution, and the very best of luck with what comes next.

Any surprises there? I though the Ruffalo might've been offered another 12 months. Surprised at Daly not making the grade. But most shocked that Aarons was still here. Whistle

Agree with you on Arfur's lad and Ruffles Snoots.

and yet we're expecting the new bloke to bring in more and better players ...... hmmmm

Maybe they should have learned the theme song from Minder !!!

PS - who the !@£$ was the loanee known as Jordan Smith? Oh yeah, that keeper we got in on loan from the Florists. Wooden have known had I not looked in the forest known as t'interweb.

I hadn't realised quite how many players you had. No wonder you hadn't got any money.

Please don't release Rolando Aarons, Chesterfield might sign him. We always love having a couple of permanently injured players, capable of looking good for 15 minutes prior to relapse.

I think he's the first one on the conveyor belt out of town Devon, along with some cuddly toys, an alarm clock, a bottle of fizz ..... Laugh Laugh Laugh

Didn't we do well?

Er, quite.

This "speculation" first surfaced in the Daily Fail yesterday and is now being repeated verbatim by numerous rags including The Unexamined by Dom Howson who does the Wendies pages for Retch/Yorkshire Live.

https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/sport/foo...e-27069859

It may turn out to be true/false but the lack of anything confirming/denying it on the Town website is deafening.

He hasn't actually left us yet as his contract runs to the end of July, rather than the end of May or June - read into that what you like

I got told that Neil want's the job but Sharon and his kids weren't as keen as his health hasn't been as good as has been portrayed

If he does stay then I expect Koroma to stay as well
