Totally agree.

BTA at least tries. We would have been better off putting Bartley up front and bomb the penalty area than have Grant on the pitch.

It is dire but at least CC will be able to pick a squad albeit on a tight budget and coach them.

Mowbray is doing it at Sunderland and I believe CC is more than able to emulate that.

Another pretty piss poor performance, but as has been said by so many, we don’t have any premiership players, in fact we don’t really have many championship players. So that showing was to be expected. We have no one with any value to sell, we have no money, but we do have a disgraceful owner and we also have no future. There’s no money coming our way and CC will be expected to turn our pigs ear of a team into a silk purse next season.
We are staring into the abyss.

Having already done a final day Great Escape, could the Baggies do a final day Great Promotion?

Won`t hold my breath.....

What's the saying?
Something like "the whole is greater than the sum of the parts".....
I think we're seeing a smidgen of this right now; a good coach can, to a certain extent, produce a good team performance with pretty mediocre players, providing they all buy in and give 100%.
Maybe, with another dollop of luck, that can see us into the play offs, then, who knows?

When we started with Carlos we had a marathon to run, 26 miles, the people we are now fighting with for the last two golden tickets only had to run 17.33 miles. Over two thirds of a season, 29 games, we are well into the playoffs but our first 17 games handicapped us. Others had slow / bad starts, Coventry, Boro and are there abouts but we had a lot of ground to make up.
Hats off to CC and the squad for giving us a meaningful final game. We have had an unfair share of serious injuries and squad disruption, some outrageous officiating decisions but they have managed to give us hope.
It's the hope that kills you. Come on you baggies, make us proud.

so if my calculations are correct with blackburn getting a last gasp draw at luton 6th place is achievable for 4 teams and for us to make it
we must win our game whilst preston beat or hold sunderland to a draw and blackburn beat millwall. a draw for blackburn and millwall
would still work if we win by a 2 goal margin which would best millwalls goal difference by 1. It might be worth a wager because the odds must be
small of this all happening. as 4EB says Its the hope....
