Blues have won, if we win all our last four games we are in the lottery.
After our first 17 games I wouldn't have thought that.
14 points from 17 games. Dinosaur Bruce football
49 points from 25 games, King Carlos football.
Post Carlos, we have a promotion winning points ratio. 2 points a game, 92 points over the whole season.
Should have got rid of Bruce earlier.
Gets tough from here in, Sunderland, Blades, Norwich and Swansea.

The blades could already be promoted before we play them, they need a four point swing over Luton who play tomorrow.

Wednesday .... As near to a perfect set of results as we could hope for.
Only slight dip in perfection .... Norwich drew with QPR.

Coventry Blackburn draw
Preston lost
Watford lost

We are one point behind Blackburn and are seventh with a better goal difference, same points and GD as Coventry but a game in hand.
Could have ended the night in eleventh but dropped just the minimum one place that was inevitable due to Blackburn playing Coventry.

All in all a good night Thumb up Thumb up Thumb up Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

this league is feast or famine beauty and the beast like a lady of the night's drawers up and down up and down again Smile
I actually completely missed the blackpool game as I had fine female company that night between a very busy chaotic work schedule
It was my work buddy who alerted me on wednesday morning that we were 6th where my brain was still focussed on the stoke victory
and us being 11th. what a lovely surprise that was and wednesday itself went pretty well all told didn't it?
so the last four fixtures are tough but really hard to call sunderland are in similar form but we are at home shelf utd away is the real tough fixture
norwich have been wobbling and are dreadful defensively and swansea well they have the best form of all those fixtures won 4 drawn 1 and were away
so i predict thus WBA 2 sunderland 1 Sheff Utd 2 WBA 1 WBA 3 norwich 1 swansea 1 WBA 1 7pts = 70 finish 6th Wink well it must be worth a wager eh?

Another set of good results so far, Millwall, Norwich and Watford all lose.
Disappointing that Coventry won and go fifth.
A draw tonight between Preston and Blackburn would open the door for us to take pole position for one of the two remaining play-off places.
A win over Sunderland would climb us into the top six still with a game in hand over the lions and the sky blues. Thumb up Thumb up Thumb up

Well. The positives are we are still in control and I am buzzing and have butterflies in my stomach waiting for this match to start.

A bit like pre match nerves when up against Villa or Wolves (not the Brum Scrum).

I watched the Wrexham match yesterday and felt hugely jealous of the passion and potential the club and fans have. It has been and can still be a great journey over the next few seasons.

And we have Lai.

Preston and Blackburn did as they were told and drew. Three wins guarantees a place but I think Two wins and a draw should be enough to get us our lottery ticket. With players returning and with a run of form going into it, we may make it.

Come on you baggies.
