Quote:An update on the club's ownership

We can today confirm that American businessman, investor, and Sacramento Republic Football Club CEO and Owner Kevin M. Nagle is the prospective new owner of Huddersfield Town, subject to legislative and governance procedures.

Mr. Nagle commented:

“I am beyond pleased to announce I have entered into agreement with Dean Hoyle to purchase a full stake in Huddersfield Town. As the approval process is now under way, there will be no further comment until finalization, as we wish to 100% respect that process.

“I would however like to thank Dean for all his help and support along the way, and I cannot wait to meet and speak to the wonderful Town fans.”

Once again, the football club would like to thank every supporter for their patience and understanding.

Well this is what the fans have been crying out for. He's worth billions according to his Wiki page.

So what could possibly go wrong?

Trying to find out more info, but it's a struggle.

You would hope he has plenty of brass having co-founded EnvisionRx with two other people which was sold for nearly $2billion

Some are quoting his net worth from this web page, https://www.celebsagewiki.com/kevin-m-nagle, but quite honestly if they can't work out his eye or hair colour from the colour photo they use on this page, how do they even come close to working out his net worth?

Well ........ I don't want to stereotype but he's definitely not gay. I'd guess he owns a gun. I think he knows how to use it. He didn't get to play quarterback at school, certainly not a wide receiver and didn't make the track team.

He likes cars and action films. Owns at least three dogs.

Votes Republican and will fall in love with Yorkshire and its people. Money's real. He's too ugly to be a real conman. He's stubborn as hell.

Just guessin', I really hope it turns out well. You deserve it!

Based on his political contributions I think you are right with the gun and his voting preference.  In 2020 official documents showed that he gave $185,000 to a variety of Republican candidates and groups. In 2019 he gave nearly $500k.

If he were only worth $5million then I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be able to show sufficient funds to run a Football club to the EFL and I'm pretty sure DH will have done his homework correctly on this sale having not really done so the last time.

Without wanting to upset anyone I can't stand Americans but that's because everyone I've met in person has been a loud mouth erm rhymes with banker...the same applied to the canadian's at the world cup.

But I'm prepared to give this guy a chance as long as he uses the term Football and not soccer

Or maybe I'm just a grumpy old git!

If he was only worth $5m he wouldn't be involved in the basketball team let alone the Division 2 US football/soccerball team either.
He'd barely be covering the debt on many a US junior team of any major sport with that amount of cash in his sky rockets.

If he gives $500K to the political party of his choice he's either got money for real. or employs Donald Trump's accountant.

Visited America several times. I like Americans, even when I can't stand their politics.

I don't rate having to call your dad sir.

And being paddled in the Principal's office, doesn't compare with being thrashed and abused by the Headmaster and sleeping with your Housemaster on Thursdays.

Americans have a lot to learn, but he'll love the accents; maybe you can get him into Our Yorkshire Farm ..........

It'll all work out, and if it doesn't, you can play us in the National League. Naah it'll be fine, promotion next season.

Wakey - YOU ARE! Join the club!
