Yes Button was awful and directly responsible for both goals, but how many times did our defenders and midfield get their pockets picked to lose the ball? Sloppy passing as well, all in all a horror show, the scariest bit though, the memory of when Val ball got sussed by the opposition and they would not let us play.

I think that is the end of our promotion push. That may seem harsh, it's only one game, right. But It's not this result that makes me say that, it's the fact that Alex (Palmer) is out for another six weeks, I can not see Button performing anywhere near well enough to keep us in the chase.

when I first read about the injury to Palmer I was quietly worried then the leeds manager saga took place of that fear only for me to re focus on
button being in goal and already we've suffered 2 losses out of 3 and shipped 5 goals if you add in the chesterfield games 4 games with button in goal
1 win 1 draw 2 lost 8 goals shipped its not good stats and I fear this could see a downturn in results especially with blackburn watford and middlesborough up next
6 pointers i fear could be game set and match against us pray I'm wrong but CC needs to be strong now and drop button again for someone anyone who might or might not stop this trend
