Yeah, weird one that at first glance, couldn't fault him that past few weeks, well until we stuck him at left back at Both Ends, but anyone else could have had that short straw and failed miserably. He got caught out for their third goal but from what I saw wasn't otherwise embarrassed too often. Thinking with all our loans coming back, new players in, paying Villa for one of theirs is stretching the budget too far, plus we brought another RB in from Burnalee so how many do we actually need?

PS - wrote that before reading The Unexamined, I could do their job, go on lads, gizzus a job. Could have played for Town but I'd two paper rounds.

Got to question whether we need another winger with the system we use, surely a better left sided full back/wing back would be a more pressing concern

He can't complain that he hasn't got options anymore.

Plenty of defensive options.

Plenty of midfield options.

Plenty of Winger options.

Plenty of Forward options.

If they are up to the challenge of playing and winning Championship matches is the big Question though. Signings like Knockeart, Lowton and Waghorn are decent enough on paper but are they the same quality as say 3-4 years ago.

and then we have the question of if the manager is up to the standard of the championship. The bits we are told about his training sessions and the lack of tactical training would suggest not as would some of his in game decisions.

Here's hoping he and the team prove me wrong
