Chesterfield Prediction League 2022/23

I recommend Lubens. We thought about Cheshire Cheese across from Scriveners but we were just a little bit too early and it had started raining. We went to No 6 The Square years ago. That was nice but could have changed. I love a spa town. It's my kind of architecture. Look out for the hidden light switch in Scriveners as well as Enjoy your gerbils book. I'm easily pleased.   Big Grin

I agree that £15 does seem a bit steep, although I`m sure a wrinkly like me would get in a bit cheaper. I`m definitely going to get down to Silverlands a couple of times myself this season. In fact, I was rather hoping that we would arrange a pre-season friendly there; sadly not. Funny to think that both Buxton and Alfreton are only one level below us now.

They`re both only a stone`s throw from us now - we actually walk past Scriveners at least a couple of times a week - but strangely we haven`t been to either there or Lubens yet, Amelia. They`re both very definitely on the bucket list, though. Books and food (preferably with alcohol as an added extra) are always high on my list of priorities in life.

I agree there is probably more than 7. There's a lot of people who support United or City but you do see the odd Wednesday, Sheff Utd, Derby, Stockport and Macclesfield fans around. I was hoping that we would play a pre-season friendly against Buxton but I wonder if the plastic pitch played a factor. There's a really good bar/clubhouse at the Silverlands.
