You just know we'll lose to Forest Green under DM too.
Autos, or bust. And DM bust. Thus squad should have done better. The consistent defensive errors and suicidal tactics of putting BPF under unnecessary pressure all season has been costly. Most of the night Sunderland anticipated us passing backwards. And that has been something else many other teams have figured out about DM this season... We love to go backwards. Just like everything that seems to encompass Sheffield Wednesday, backwards. Doesn't look like the EFL are going to leave us alone it has been yet another season of it after making sure we went down last season. Sunderland.. cheating bastards

In spite of the obvious disappointment from today we probably did better than all or most of us predicted at this time last year following relegation. Not withstanding the bingo selections and points given away late on in games over the course of the season I think we have played some attractive football a lot of the time especially since Christmas.
Todays starting team was probably one most of us would have picked too but for some reason there was a lot of head tennis again like Wycombe forced us to do. Only the players know if that is down to the Sunderland pressure or game pressure on them but if we had played along the ground more like we did for the goal the outcome might have been different. It will be interesting to see how the recruitment goes but at least now we are less f***ed than we might have been by losing in the final and then having to look for L1 targets rather than championship players. With luck we will find some good young premier players to loan and it may be the time Fizz and Dennis come into their own next season

Not inspired unless Moore gets the sack there is no way on earth he can make automatic promotion of 90 odd points with his style and inept useless tactics ! Should we all Cheer him on too another play off flop ffs !!!

Just got back.
Initial thoughts: Too much long ball. Midfield 3 were way too deep, Bannan does damage when he is forward, just see the goal we scored. Subs too late as usual Poor tactics Ref was UTTER CRAP Huffed and puffed Over the 2 legs, Sunderland edged it imo MOORE HAS TO GO, YES HE MADE THE PLAYOFFS BUT THAT WAS THE BARE MINIMUM, WITH THE SQUAD HE HAS, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN, EVEN WITH INJURIES, AUTOS. BUT WITH THE CLOWN IN CHARGE, NOWT WILL HAPPEN.
Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

DM deserves another season, he put together a squad of freebies and loanees that struggled to win games in the first half of the season. Once we got going we were the best team in the division in the second half of the season. The draws in the first half killed us as a number of us said they would. Did he make mistakes, yes, every manager does but on the whole I think he needs to be backed in the summer and he needs to add to the team that played the second half of the season. Next season the goal has to be the Auto spots and we need to get a good start for once!! As Washington said, we have exceeded what all of us thought we would do, so we had no faith in a team that did very well in the end.

I agree with Charlie. We managed to go through 4 managers last season and got relegated and every time we look for a new one the list is usually a bunch of out of work dinosaurs. DM seems the first since Carlos who gets on with DC (which counts for a lot for getting backing on signings) and also the players. If we aren’t in the top 4 by the end of September then it might be time to rethink but that also depends on how much churn there is over the summer and who comes in.
Time for everyone to get their flip flops out and chill out with a few or more beers. I mean how long have we all been supporting Wednesday !! At least we didn’t have an extra 30 mins of suffering only to lose on penalties. I’d also be a lot happier if the officiating was more even - be interesting to see how Derby’s games get handled next year.

I don't see how he can add to this when he will be on less budget ? Sorry you're wrong the both off you are talking shite ! We now go into another season in the pub league with a shitier team due to less budget and against better teams in Derby and possibly Ipswich and Pompey who will progress but whatever I'm at the point again where I'm going to take a step back because I don't enjoy it anymore I and I really don't see the point ..I think the only thing that keeps me going is when people talk absaloute shite even when the facts are proven and staring them in the face !! Social media to ight is too the Moore out gang are back ...ffs what as set of xxxx wet wipe nobheads who accept this tripe
