We're the first match on after the International break as we go to Hull on Friday evening. Located a stone's throw from the Humber, you may decide to head to Rotterdam after the match on P&O Ferries. Oh hang on a minute, even if you are willing to give your hard-earned to the morally challenged, the boat may not sail.  Doh

Rumour has it that the stadium will be renamed The MGM Stadium on Friday and the Tigers will be renamed the Kittens.

Last time out, in fact the last 3, have seen us finish as victors. In October, Tom Lees got the first and Duane Holmes the 2nd; one goal in each half.

Who to watch out for near the goalmouth!

From wearehullcity.co.uk:

Hull City parted company with Grant McCann in January. He of course went back to manage his former club, Peterborough, a match made in heaven, I'd say. In came Shota Arveladze from Georgia. He's somewhat of a legend there as he's their all-time leading goalscorer. His brothers and nephew were or are also in football.
His road to Hull

Currently in 20th position, they have been teetering between 18th and 23rd since match 3 of the season. Having not improved them, I'd say this chap Shota won't be long for the chop.

Don't let the last one drive you to Hull (or anywhere)
I wouldn't actually recommend having a tiger come for tea, either.
I've never seen Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. That has absolutely nothing to do with anything.
April Fools; love them or hate them?
I'll add managers ramblings if we get any. No idea on team news. I'm bushed. Out of 9 colleagues, I'm the only one who hasn't had covid, all but one came under the old isolation rules, too... not that I want them to come in with it, either!! Ridiculous state of affairs.

I have no idea why I've done a cartoon theme, either. May be I have tried to make Hull more fun?????

I heard a good April Fool joke today. They said, and I know this is just so silly it can't possibly be true but, on Friday, April Fool's Day, they're going to start making NHS workers pay for their car parking again, after they said they wouldn't do following their hero status achieved during the pandemic.

Laugh  Laugh  Laugh  Laugh  Laugh

What a bunch of jokers. Nobody would be that daft to believe that this government would do something like that.

They'd throw a party to celebrate if they did - like they did on Monday to celebrate the FPN's, from where (or elsewhere) Bodgit seems to have gathered a bit of a scar on his beak. Whistle

As for the Car Park fees - well they've paid the Car Park er, management companies hundreds of thousands while not charging the staff.
Now bear in mind, until they (the Government) decided to let Car Park management companies pay them (the Government who said they'd give it to the NHS) fees for charging people to park there, all hospital parking was free.

All they have to do is rip up the contract and tell them to f*** off, except they can't because it's not a contract with the NHS, it's with the Government. It begs the question, why is the NHS paying these leeches for anything? It was the Government who said staff could park for free, but the NHS has to pay for the Governments screw up with contracts. Not like that's new is it?

Well done, Amelia. I especially liked the cartoon section. You were probably wise to omit any reference to the story of the small dark-skinned mixed-race child with Black African and non-Black African parentage. Whistle Rolleyes In one of my old records, he had his clothes taken by a tiger, who considered himself the grandest tiger in the jungle. GRRRRREAT says Tony.

There was also an Esso promotion in the 60s and 70s urging drivers to put a tiger in their tank.

And this is the Year of The Tiger. an auspicious time to take the tiger by the tail and grab the 3 points.

Theo, are the Look North spaghetti trees the same ones as the Panorama ones in the 50s?

I loved Looney Tunes cartoons as a girl. I was chuckling away st the roadrunner gifs when i was looking through them. Happy days.

I'm sure they had some good April's Fools on That's Life but I couldn't remember any for definite.

That picture of spaghetti trees looks like a 1950s April Fool but I'm sure I remember it from my childhood so they either rehashed it or showed it again??
