Oh dear. Lets just say that it wasn't a great week and the Premiership players could do with this week's Prediction League International break. A total of just 30 points scored wasn't the low point of the season but it was close - just 1 positive bonus, 2 gamballs and 2 scoreballs. 4 of the week's fixtures yielded negative points and 1 a zero - seems someone picked some toughies
Minizin and Sanjay share top spot with 8 points. Mini only got 2 correct results but they included a correct score and the only positive bonus ball and he was helped by avoiding the banana skin of the gamball. Sanjay got 5 of his points from the gamball game and shared in the week's high of 4 correct result predictions but lost out on his other balls. SCO was the other player to predict Bournemouth's victory but didn't get a lot else right but those 5 points were enough to secure him 3rd place.
Snooty actually had the highest number of correct scores/results but lost 6 points from a blank set of balls. He finished a point ahead of Derby, though with everyone suffering, his overall lead won't be affected by such a low score.
Baggieone's struggles continue - just a single point from just 2 correct predictions though it would have been worse if he'd gambled. And at the bottom BBB and Silver. They actually both got a correct score - a rarity this week - but blanked their balls to leave them both pointless.

Not surprisingly there wasn't much change to the overall table, just Minizin and SCO swopping positions in 4th/5th. Derby maintains his comfortable lead at the top while BaggieOne is clawing his way towards 200 points but looks likely to fall back to the Championship.

Pretty good week on the whole in the Championship. Blue Baggie once again leads the way on 18 points, he didn't score on the most games but he scored on the right games taking advantage of all his balls!! Dingle is 2nd and continues his good form with 16 points. Identical record as Blue but only got a CR on the Bonus. Joint 3rd are our bottom two players, Twerton is on such a good run of consistent scoring and Amelia desperately needed a decent week and she got it!!
Zinman is 5th and the last player to get into double figures with 11 points, he chose not to play the gamball and that saved him 3 points. Stairs is 5th with 6 points, a poor week by his standards and one that could be decisive in the chase for the title. Lady Jane's poor run continues with just 5 points and Salop is 8th with just a solitary point, a bad week for him after a recent good run. Themaclad can't buy a decent score at the moment, although if he sends me a cheque his form might just improve!!! His zero didn't trouble the scorers!!

A few key changes in the table. Blue extends his lead to 17 points over Stairs, could that be decisive at this late stage of the season? The race for the PO spot has really got hot with Dingle's great form seeing him drawing level with Salop, and with Salop having a rare off week Zinman has closed the gap to him to just one point. Themaclad is now out of the PO race and behind him now is Mr Consistency Twerton, he has been bottom of the table for so long and has now climbed into 6th spot with mid-table now in sights. Our Ladies now occupy the bottom 2 spots, separated by only 5 points, Lady Jane has been struggling for a few weeks and Amelia is stuck on a rollercoaster it would seem!!
From a stats perspective, its interesting that Amelia has the most points from the Bonus Ball with 27 points but unfortunately she has the least points from the Gamball with -29!! Three players share the least points on the Bonus with -9, Dingle, Lady Jane and Twerton being the guilty parties. Leading the way on the Gamball is Salop with 34 points despite only playing it 4 times, had he played it every week he would be 21 points better off, as would Stairs who hasn't played it at all, could that cost him the title??
