My friends across the pond reckon he has a good footballing head on him and can play a bit when they've seen him play for Canada. OK Canada are not Brazil but they get plenty of games against the likes of USA and Mexico, countries that can play a bit on their day.

Can't believe we're going into this crucial period of games with only 1 striker, get a grip Town, 7 points out if the next 9 are crucial if we are to avoid relegation, these next 3 games could shape our season.

Wondering if Town have secured a backup striker but won't make that move unless they fail to get a better option.

there is a good core there for the first time in a long time the centre of midfield looks quite good just need some tweaks and a little depth and i think we could have a competitive squad
a couple of loans to cover some forward play for the rest of the season throw some of the young uns in too then Summer priorities have to be Full backs especially left back, some CB cover maybe Edgar full time, permanent back up striker ( maynard, Le Fondre, Murray)

JASOG it's all well and good dismissing them but who would you get in? Can we ideally compete for a calibre of striker higher than that from the championship? That's not meant to be worded as an attack btw. Always thought your input very good. I'd probably get in someone like JET. Powell can get the best out of him and he's big, strong, pacey and a good finish on him and could fit the bill Powell wants as a mobile target man. Also still very young so fits the deano archetype player.
