We did the same to them at there place..posession counts for nothing if you can't put the ball in the net !
He kept gambling Patterson upfront and today the reality has set in !
Got to come up with a better plan against Accrington or the playoffs will be blown again !
Automatic. Has finished today unless Wigan lose 2 on the trot next week which I doubt !
Still got this game in hand in the week to put us joint 4th is the only saving grace .

Plenty of positives from us from this game, we have been the better team against the best team in the division, if we had a recognized striker that was fit we would have won this game. Puts pressure back on them to make sure we pick up the three points at home against Accrington. Autos are almost dead and buried, if they weren’t before, but the playoffs are there for the taking.

Might sneak 6th if we fking play strikers.

Fed up, another bitter pill to swallow.

Well Gregory & Windass are injured which leaves Berahino Sow and Kamberi as options

That would require us to get Gregory or Windass back, the rest are ok for 10-15 mins but these two are the only ones who will score regularly. Smith has 21 goals for them, we need someone like that that can stay bloody fit!!!

Didn't deserve that, but that's football, need to bounce back Wednesday v Accrington

That bullshit corner from the linesman changed the game.

Yet another big game choked upon !

Question is do we really want to put ourselves through the playoffs which we won't win due to the fact we don't play any advantage at home with bungle football !
Can you imagine getting Sunderland at there place ..ffs !!

If we can keep the tempo and play a striker we should beat Accrington and look much better in the standings.
