I was hoping that DR Congo wouldn't qualify but, if Mulumbu's got a hamstring problem, surely the Baggies can demand that he returns to the UK for treatment here.

If he plays again in this competition he risks making the injury a lot worse.

I suppose it's the old Club versus Country battle again.

Could not see Jose or Arsene allowing one of their players to stay out there in a similar situation.
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.

Please explain why you rate Gardner?
all he does for me is lunge into tackles and constantly gives the ball away.

Decent tackler who contributes well defensively, good shot on him and his passing is ok, prefer Mulumbu though.

I see 'Mulumbu' was an unused sub in today's game.....presumably that IS our YM? And if it is I'm again presuming he's more-or-less fit again? (Oh - there ARE 12 named subs tho so (again) does this mean that the rest of the squad are named regardless of their availability/fitness?)

The only games I can think of in recent times where we have played well, are when Mulumbu and Yacob both started a game together.Who in their wisdom decided to split up this partnership? Think we need them back together again, but not too sure if present Manager sees it that way!
