Well there's a little device at the bottom of Gibbet Street in Halifax that could finish the job off if required. Whistle

I'm very disappointed he's not wearing a santa hat.

He's grand. Love him as Uncle Bryn.

But what is the joke about Owain Hughes all about?  Huh

Is it wrong that I'm now tempted to stay at home at watch it on the telly? Being cold is not appealing. This is a new experience for me. I'm usually taking my coat off for most of the match. This season I have had to wear scarf, gloves AND hat three times already. On the other hand, games could be behind closed doors soon.

That's what they call global warming AmChaff. Get used to it, it's only gonna get colder.
Don't think it's on the tellybox, other than Jeff and his mates keeping up with the score and maybe showing the goals (or whoever is on the roster while he watches Hartlepuddles).
Forest game is on the tellybox.

PS - who's Owain Hughes??

On, according to the Sky Sports Football app.

I think it's just Saturdays when they're not allowed to show them on the red button.

Yup, original tellybox rules drawn up so the BeeB and ITV couldn't show (then 1st Division) games live on Saturday when everyone kicked off at 3pm as it was felt it would affect attendances lower down the leagues.

Hence there's rarely more than a couple of Prima Donna League matches these days that kick off at 3pm on Saturday as they are nearly all money spinners here and abroad. Of course the Prima Donna 3pm kick-off's that do happen are shown all over the world and in some pubs in the UK with dodgy interweb feeds or satellite dishes that don't necessarily point at Sky's satellites. Pubs in Rochdale/Oldham within walking distance of the home ground will (or have in the recent past) suddenly start to fill up at 2:30 in the afternoon rather than empty when the home team kicks off at 3pm if a certain team in Red or the other one in Sky Blue just down the road happens to be kicking off at the same time.

The PL and the EFL are shutting down more of these "unpaid for" feeds but they (or their broadcasting "partners") put them up there in the first place with initially little security to stop them being, er, borrowed by folk who are either more interweb or satellite TV savvy than their own anti-piracy chaps.

Re Owain Hughes. Only the Welsh get the joke. But if anyone knows why it's funny, tell me, will you,?!
