I got Sherwood stuck in my head, but never thought of Robinof - too Prussian for me.

He was never known as Robin of Sherwood. He was Robin of Locksley. That threw me.

Robin of Sherwood was the tv show.

That were crap....from start to finish.
Easily forgettable game.

One player who played for both who I loved to watch was Phil Starbuck. Cracking player he was.

Ooh Phil Starbuck. Great player. Still follows Town. Keeps popping up on the Previews Show or Boothys Banter.
Whatever happened to Boothys Banter?

Good idea. Even though English isn't his first language, he's got a better grip of it than Boothy. Big Grin

so the team to begin with was

1- Jed Steer

2-Tommy Smith
3-Mark Hudson
4-Joel Lynch
5-James Husband

6-Jonathan Hogg
7-Phil Billing

8-Joe Lolley
9-Karim Matmour
10-Harry Bunn

11-Nahki Wells

subs- Dean Whitehead, Martin Cranie and Kyle Dempsey.

A Matt Mills own goal and a strike from Phil Billing, a bit of a wonder goal if I recall (I think I had just landed in Cape Town and was told to look out for it) gave Town a 2-0 win

The anagrams.

Garibaldi Red- a nickname of the club and the colour of the shirts
West Bridgeford- The area in which the ground is based, along with Trent Bridge cricket ground
Evangelos Marinakis- the owner of the club, also owns Olympiakos
Dave Beasant- Oldest ever player for Forest
Britt Assombalonga- Highest fee recieved, although the Matty Cash transfer to Aston Villa could eclipse that at some point
Stuart Broad- A famous Forest fan, seems to have a strong opinion on all things Forest going by his Instagram
Bob Mckinley- Most appearances for the club with 692
Robin of Sherwood- It is one of his Alias so neeer Snoots Wink He's famous for being of the Nottingham area, but it is disputed with some believing that he was from Wakefield. There is a grave in Mirfield and a belief that he is buried in Kirklees Priory, but that has now been abandoned by Historians

Never mind historians. What do they know? It's a well known fact that when he was dying, he fired an arrow from the Three Nuns pub saying bury me where it lands.

Of course it's Nahki Wells. How did I miss that?  Rolleyes
Is it Nakki? Narki? Nuhkee?

Before we move on, forgot to mention those scabby bastards singing Sign On Sign On.

You pathetic ponces.

Champions of Europe? You pricks weren't even born. You've not even been in the Premier League this century.

Come back when you've won the League three times in a row.

Right. Move on. Whistle
