Hibs reject AFC's £500k bid for Boyly and the Hibs winger subsequently accepting a new three year deal. Looks like Hibs are attractive enough for Boyly and others to "stay put" at ER Stadium and in Boyly's case, if a transfer bid comes in later, Hibs come out of it with a lotta dosh and Boyly similarly happy.

Think Boyle is pretty happy to remain in Endinburgh as his family are settled here with his partner playing for the women's team so doesn't make any sense for him to move just yet, he's had a couple of contract extensions and tweaks in the past 12 months already and his agent seems to have played a blinder here, Boyle is now Hibs highest Earner so it's now time to prove that in the big games.

That's the one worry btw - remember the last time Boyly was rewarded with an extended two year deal - we never saw him play for months although, in his defence, it was during a period of recovery from the nasty ACL injury that he unfortunately picked up playing for the Aussie international footie team.

Hibs in for Hull City's James Scott - HFC confirmation imminent of a season's loan deal. No surprise re this move for another goal-scoring forward as a direct replacement for Doidgy. I reckon he'll be in the Hibs squad v Dundee.

Could be a good signing.

Rumours the clubs working on another couple of deals before deadline too.

They must be looking for a decent defender, preferably a flexible player if poss.

More talk of sparky today as well with Nisbet going the other way.

I wouldn't touch that with a bargepole.

Hibs in with a 3rd bid for St Johnstone's McCann - IMO a good signing if they "pull it off"!

That would be a great signing. Fingers crossed.

Correction: it's James McCart who Hibs are after, not Ally McCann. A defender and it makes sense come to think of it. Personally I'd have gone for Jason Kerr. Hibs bid rejected though.
