It goes to show, it's not the quality of the players that's the problem here. It's the INTEGRITY. They don't care about the club or the fans. They come for the money and that's it. I hope Sam dumps them very quickly. They were all smiles shaking hands and having a love in with the seals after the final whistle. WTF is going on, they should have hung their heads in shame as they left the field.
Come on Sam Axe, Stick, treatment is urgently needed.

I think Liverpool given what they did to palace and given what palace did to us won’t be even remotely worried about having to win the game they’ll be thinking they could score double figures and worry if they don’t stick at least 6 past us Christmas is always a horror show for us regardless of who we face. This year could be our worst ever. Oh and wtf happened to new managers first game in charge golden rule of always getting a result oh no I forgot only 95 other teams in our leagues pull that one off ?

So Livermore gets sent off for "intent" yesterday despite making no contact and in today's Wolves game, Moutinho stamps on a player VAR looks and says it's okay.
The mind boggles. Even more so when you compare Moutinho's stamp to Pereira's "kick out" in the Palace game.
Might as well scrap VAR, at least when the referees made mistakes they didn't have replays. The inconsistency with VAR is a joke.

Agree, Slick. I would love to see VAR scrapped, the decisions being made are as inconsistent and arbitrary as if made by the onfield referee- so, either ditch one or the other but don’t bother with both.

Is there a Fans against VAR petition we can all sign?
They do this sort of thing to get something debated in the house (Marcus Rashford and meals for children as an example)

Though I played 'soccer' for Southern Counties as a youngster, once I'd played Rugby I was hooked. Reason being, because it was a beautiful game and a contact sport.
Though soccer can be a man's game with the likes of Hunter playing, now with Var, they could no longer need to wear shin pads, and many carry a dummy to put in their mouths to stop them crying if they get fouled, so I say 'Bury them where they lay' and get on with the game.
As for a fellow sportsman deliberately appearing to be fouled to have a player sent of, if proven, should be banned for ten matches with no wages cos it's cheating.
As for Livermore being brainless, I agree, so Sam will fine him and instil on players not to react like that. I hope. And then Kick the team up the arse and put fire in their belly's - they'll need it with the games to come.

Onto Liverpool we go, I think Sam will shuffle the pack. Then we can look to the window and start bringing in some real men. COYB.
PS hope everyone had a good day yesterday.

I guess today’s game is a bit of a free hit; no-one has won at Anfield in the EPL since 2017 and somehow I can’t see us breaking that record. However, although I expect no points, I believe how we play will tell us if Allardyce has had any impact in the last week. I’m hoping to see some resolve, some commitment if/when we go a goal down and we don’t cave in. I’d also like us to have 11 players on the pitch at the end. Finally, a serious attempt of two on their goal would be very welcome although that may be a wish too far.

Didn't we beat them in the Cup a couple of years ago, up there?
I'm going for another 2-7 (same as the Villa.)
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

It will be an interesting game today, with Big Sam have the licence to shuffle the pack.
The team selection could go two ways...
He could just replace Livermore.
He could make wholesale changes, looking at other options, considering we are expected to lose. This could mean anyone coming in and out really, as we don't yet know what Sam thinks of the likes of Grosicki, Kipre, Peltier, Austin and others who were on the fringes under Bilic. We don't know if he see's Ajayi as a centre half or midfielder, Ivanovic as a centre half or right back. There are lots of things that could change.
I assume he's not going to want to upset the lads too much with wholesale changes, but I do suspect we might see hints of the side looking a bit more 'steely' today. Possibly Ajayi or O'Shea moving into midfield.
