Huge Trouble Brewing ....
#1
Adrian Goldberg and Chris Lepkowski have been digging for months.
What has now been revealed may see our club in huge trouble with the FA including demotion, fines or other if the club has illegally changed hands( thanks JP)
Shareholders wanted answers,Ken wouldn't meet them so it looks as though the shareholders have reported this to the FA themselves....

What a mess Angry

Strong words from Shareholders 4 Albion in letter sent today to #WBA - S4A hold just over 12% of shares held by ordinary fans but were sidelined by Jeremy Peace. They say S4A chairman has been "castigated" in a legal letter sent to S4A by the club...
Their "crime"? Daring to hand deliver letter for new Chief Exec Ke Xu (aka Ken) at Training Ground after initial letter ignored. They were just asking for an informal meeting. They also report that a shareholder whose family own a significant number of shares.
...and annually pays for an executive box at the Hawthorns has not received any response to written requests for a meeting. They also want to know more about a £3.7m loan in 2014 which has still not been repaid. They question the club's Corporate Governance.
They have also referred unresolved questions about the Club's ownership to the Premier League and say "our majority shareholders are invisible, as is our new Chief Executive. The football club appears to lack the leadership needed at this critical time.
Will be very interesting to see how the club responds, but it's clear questions raised in recent episodes of The Liquidator #podcast with me and @chrislepkowski are now surfacing elsewhere. #COYB 5/5 https://t.co/YSQ6CRj3W2

I'd always backed Jeremy Peace's Chairmanship, the way he prudently guided us from a Championship Club to a self-sufficient Prem Club without being tempted to go into The Red, like several other Clubs.
But I now wonder whether he saw it as a big opportunity to line his pockets in some big plan, all along.
I don't know whether he still claims to be a 'fan', but he's no idiot, .......just a bloody disgrace!
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

Having a Chinaman who had no intention of backing yhe club was the biggest mistake of all for JP and us loyal supporters.
Also what has happened to the young Chineseman who was immediately loaned out?

Now come on JP said he would only sell to someone who could take us forward Laugh

Update via express and star

A lot of frenzy about Ms Yasha Ge and whether she owns Albion instead of Guochuan Lai. But it's all incorrect speculation. Lai very much remains Albion's owner. Story here: https://t.co/s2glA7ykCQ #wba

Lepkowski says it proves nothing Doh

Seen it Jase, ta. Doesn't tell us anything we haven't said on the pod' already - club made that claim when first tackled. Nor does it explain the wks of radio silence re YG that has prompted shareholders to mobilise.

Wow considering this could be one of the pivotal moments in our clubs history I'm surprised by the lack of interest in it.
Maybe I should do a thread on Albums or Cartoons as they seem to get commented on.
Hey so the club may be heading for uncertain times but who gives a F**k Doh

I think we are waiting to see how the owner/owners respond. It's all gossip and rumours ATM. I don't think many of us actually believe Lai is the real money man. It's all shrouded in mystery. I would be more worried if they are taking money out of the club. Be that through divideds or inflated salaries. A lot more transparency is required IMO.

This, plus the sense that we're powerless one way or the other. We can't even meet up in groups of above six, we're hardly going to be storming the Winter Palace next week.

Rumour and conjecture spread by someone who appears very keen to damage certain people within the club ( no, not you , Beefy!). There’s a perfectly logical explanation by the club in the E&D article and unless they’re lying, there’s not much more to say.
Sadly we live in a world where such rumours can quickly spread and become facts in the minds of those that want to believe them (again, not you Beef...... that is unless you really are Donald)

Could be CL for sure
But as I posted the update CL was adamant he has something that will come out soon and still reckons the club has been moved on
Interesting that jo masi at the star has seen the papers yet CL is refused a phonecall
Interesting to hear people's thoughts especially with no footy this week but we would rather talk well about more important things Doh
Anyway what's your favourite pudding Rolleyes
