LAST MATCH

We played ok at times, but poor defending and goalkeeping saw us go down to a good Brentford team. The Bees scored first when Dawson parried out to Toney who finished first time. Mbueno nearly made it 2, before we equalized when Paterson headed in Harris cross. The lead didn't last long as Toney headed in from a corner, easily outmuscling Odubajo. Onto the 2nd and we pressed them better but were lacking in the attacking department, with only a Paterson header that there keeper saved, though that was offside. They had a couple of chances on the break, but didn't add to there tally as they held on for all 3 points.

THE MATCH

Next up Luton who make the journey north. They have made a mixed start, winning 3 and losing 3, and lie midtable. Dont see them challenging at the top end of the table and will probably finish in the bottom half of the table. Nathan Jones is back managing them after an unsuccessful stint at Stoke. Not many names you would recognize in the Luton squad. We beat these 1-0 last season and hopefully a similar score this season too.

Nice one, Kev

Next few games are winnable unlike the last one. I don't expect beautiful football but we can definitely scrap these points out.

2-1 Windarse
