Sorry to correct you Beefy but don’t you mean Huddersfield. I still say this deal will go though. Decent goal scorer including 4 in 13 in the premiership with a poor Huddersfield side I still think he would do an excellent job with the chances created by our midfield.

I think the clue was "Sky" - do we do our deals in public now?
Anyone who is prepared to run into spaces when the ball is threaded through from our midfield will score plenty.
That doesn't have to be Grant, just someone with pace and half a brain.  Tongue
2020 the year the bubble burst  Doh

Awh 'eck - just got through to my brain that the transfer deadline is still 2 weeks away for moves between a PL club and an EFL club.
So this Grant saga is set to drag on for a while yet.

Could do, but Huddserfield might be relying on our deal to finance some of their own signings, so not sure stringing it out will benefit them.

I know they were trying to buy Chris Willock from Benfica but looks like they are going to get gazumped now.

Not overly impressed with the videos of this Metz striker Habib Diallo we are supposed to be looking at. The only thing you could say for certain looking at them is that he is lucky with deflection's. Josh ???

His facts & figures from last season look OK though - was it 12 goals from 26 games "in a struggling team" (where have I heard that before)?

Looking at it, the deal is us paying £6m for the season loan which would be paid back if we go down. Not sure what the final fee would be on staying up but that sounds like the sort of deal we'd be interested in, wouldn't it?
Wages on top, obviously, but it sounds ideal to me!

Not sure when Spurs have just turned down a 1.5 mil Euro loan bid for Deli Alli from PSG (not surprising), OK, they turned it down, but I am sure if you are doing a comparison. In terms of looking at the numbers, I have only thought that is of any use, if the numbers are from comparable leagues with comparable players. We would not be looking at a L1 player who was 50 in 46 and think he could do it in the Prem and I am not sufficiently familiar with the French league to figure out whether the numbers would be of any use.
