LAST MATCH

We followed up our opening day win at Cardiff with another away win as we saw off Rochdale by he same 0-2 scoreline. Eleven changes were made with several of the young lads starting Brennan, Shaw & Hunt and Kachunga starting up front. We had most of the ball and both teams had a few chances but couldn't find the breakthrough. Onto the 2nd half and we took the lead from Palmer's cross and Kachunga headed his first goal for the club. We were creating alot of chances but couldn't find that second goal, until sub Windass finished from close range with a few minutes to go. Onto round 3 and Fulham or Ipswich await

THE MATCH

Our first home game of the season and Watford make the journey north. This lot were in the Premier League last season and will be hoping to bounce back at the first attempt, not an easy thing to do in the Championship. They are managed by Vladimir Ivic, from Serbis, who last managed Maccabi Tel Aviv. They still have some decent players, Troy Deeney, Chalobah to name two. They have won both games so far this season, Middlesbrough in the league and Oxford in the cup. We have had a few Watford players over the past few seasons, Pudil, FF and Abdi, with various productivity.

I don't think we will have the luxury to start Rhodes as we will be without the ball for most of the game .I think the wise option will be kabunga upfront with windass mixing it in midfield I also think Reach would be a better option starting than Harris as he won't get overun by the big time premiership charlie's who will have the ref in there pocket from the start !

This is obviously the toughest home game of the season and it will be interesting to see the tactics because away from home we can take on just about anyone with them ...but at home we struggle !

Cheers, Kev Thumb up

Not a bad start at all, better than I expected but still so early on in the season. It'd be nice to nick a point here. Honestly, I can see the EFL stooge doing the usual blind man routine so it's going to be tough.

1-1 Fartbum ( windass)

WBA or Brentford away again should we beat Fulham which I doubt ? But monk away is better than monk at home so far !
This cup has actually become quarter final fodder ...and I say fodder because the big guns only start here !
