Bilic will have 1000+ players to chose from, we certainly don't need to throwing £20m on players.
And I don't believe we have any more then £20m total to spend anyway.
I don't see anyone rushing to buy ours, it's just agents and media rubbish about us buying anyone.
Eze, Watkins actually anybody over £10m forget them.
I would be extremely happy if we played our youngsters. If your good enough your old enough IMO.
I ask anyone to explain where our transfer budget is coming from?
Yes we have £100m from the PL played in £25m instalments throughout the season. We need £70m to cover
the clubs running costs. So I see us with a total budget of £20m now and £10m in Jan.  That's it.
I would welcome other peoples thoughts??

I agree with you blue baggie here. All the wages we have paid in the champs will be increased. Just as it is written in contracts that the pay shrinks when relegated, there will be a clause the other way too. Remember we still have quite a few on our books from our previous prem visit. Hegazi, Gibbs, Harper, Livermore, Robson Kanu. I also agree with your comment re give the youngsters a run, but I wouldn’t want more than 3 in the team at any one stage. Let’s hope we can also find another 4 the same as, another pereira on loan with an option to buy, another Ajayi, and another O’Shea from the under 23’s , am I asking too much for another Mulumbu or Gera. As long as it’s not another Zohore. With These we have a chance. Otherwise We  need to get Josh on the scouting team. Any nuggets you recommend ? Over to you Josh

Slight concern now Jenkins has retired with his promotion bonus. Our new Chinese CEO has not publicaly declared he will be backing Bilic and Dowling with funds for new players. I'm not worried about relegation at all, just our management team? How will they react if funds are withheld?

What I don’t understand is why wba say we are only to buy players for the first team a week or so ago. Then within 10 days we are saying we only have a limited budget and now may have to wait. It is no wonder us fans get pissed off. Just tell us the truth, which is probably, we will look and see if we can get players which we feel can add value early doors. However, we may have to wait to October to get who we want at the right price.

Last year they said they wanted to get players in early to integrate into the squad. It did not happen that way, but there were definitely some good signings, but majority came in the last few days.

Year after year, they do seem to get players in for the positions we need, so I feel this year we will get what we need, the question will they be quality enough.

Wba don’t talk to the media much and never have, and deals are normally nearly signed off before the media know, which I like. But if the board are not going to sign anyone for the next month and a half, just tell us, then we can stop looking on newsnow twice a day.

If Jenkins can let us know, seeing as he has said more in 18 days than he has in the previous 18 years!

Calum Wilson (Bournemouth Striker) and Shane Duffy (Brighton Defender) both on radar.

Links will be added when I get a moment.

Following reports last night, I understand Albion have held initial talks with Brighton over a move for Shane Duffy. Talks with Benfica over a second loan for Filip Krovinovic have also begun. More details here: https://t.co/g55D3U08cu #wba

The 2nf loan for Krov makes perfect sense. Anything involving actual money IMO is a nonstarter for a long while yet

Yes. Sheffield United now favourites for Robinson.
It has always happened this way and so let’s hope the club has a few Aces up its sleeve as we will get beaten to all of the players we are linked to for sure  Confused

I don't see Sheff Utd as a bigger club then us or offering vastly different terms. So it comes down to other influences. The player, his agent, family and location. We forget these outside influences that can make and break any deal.
