LAST MATCH

Well after losing 3 straight we go and comfortably beat QPR on there own patch. We got off to quick start and took the league when Iorfa finished well after Luongo had struck the post. We had further chances through Windass & Lees but missed them both. Then on the stroke of halftime we did make it 2-0 when Windass glanced in a header from about 6 inches. Onto the 2nd and we managed the game well with QPR only having a tame effort on target and then we broke clear and Murphy finished well to wrap up the points. Mathematically we are safe but we are STILL WAITING for the EFL to come to a decision about misconduct charge

THE MATCH

Back to Hillsborough and The Village make the short trip south. The Village are battling to stay in the division and are only 2 points above the relegation zone. The Wigan situation and possibly ours makes it difficult to know how many points the Village might need to stay up. The Village are managed by the Cowley Brothers who did a great job at Lincoln but have struggled at this higher level. This was Monks first game in charge earlier in the season when we won by 2 goals to nil, Fletcher & Winnall the scorers, remember them.

Nice one, Kev  Thumb up

The QPR game was a nice surprise, QPR looked like we usually do. Clueless and sloppy

Mini-derby so anything could happen I suppose. Wouldn't gripe at a draw but truth is both teams are dire.

2-2 Harris

Even Portuguese Charles couldn't believe we won on Saturday...
