We managed 12 under Megson in 2001-02, so that's our best of the modern era.  I'd need time to dig back further and see what our all-time best is.

What is the greatest amount of draws in a season? Had we had less this one, say half, we would be out of sight by now.

I honestly couldn't say without going through 140 seasons of history, and that's a task for another day/month/year/lifetime [delete as applicable].

140 seasons not required, i meant since the new formation we have today. Thanks

A major road leading to West Bromwich Albion's The Hawthorns stadium is still not open ahead of Preston North End's visit to the club tonight (8pm).

An unsafe building closed the A41 Birmingham Road yesterday because of an issue with a factory roof between Middlemore Road and Halfords Lane.

A medical emergency stopped trams between West Bromwich and Birmingham too, before the A41 Closure further added to travel woes.

Those services have restarted, but the road is still shut.

Some are looking heavy legged tonight IMO, may need fresher legs early in the 2nd half and maybe a few rotations for our next game.
Will see what the 2nd half brings ?

Surprised by how one-sided that was in the end, even before the sending off. If we'd been clinical with even half of our chances it would have been a rout. Don't want to tempt fate, but it's difficult to see who can really challenge us from this point on.

There’s a 5, 6 or even 7 - 0 in the team if it all comes together. Could have been so tonight. Callum R should have scored at least 2 and could have had a hat-trick.

Hegazi, Ajayi, O’Shea and Townsend had the Preston attack in their pockets.

Midfield bossed the game Harper and Livermore were immense.

HRK looks like he’s been bitten by a radio active spider.

And then you’ve got our dream team behind him supplying the killer passes and fancy party tricks.

Please pinch me.
