Lower scoring this week across the board, mainly as a result of no correct predictions on the Gamball!! Zinman sees himself back at the top for the first time in a while with 12 points, joint with AAA. Neither of them played the Gamball, so “gained” points here as everyone else got it wrong!! But they got to the top of this weeks scores in very different ways, Zinman didn’t get one CS, while AAA got 2, but both scored on half their games and Zinman managed to score points on the Bonus while AAA missed on his.
In third spot on 7 points is Bomber, like the top two he scored on half of the games but missed on his Gamball and Bonus balls and this is what cost him the points this week. Our current leader Themaclad is in joint 4th spot on 6 points with Sanjay, essentially identical records for them and courtesy of a CR Bonus but not much else!! Just behind them in 6th spot is Derby on 5 points, only scored on two games but picked up points on the Bonus and Scoreball.
In 7th spot is St Charles on 3 points, his bad run continues missing on his balls and getting no CS at all!! Beefy is in 8th place with 2 points, picked up points on 3 of the games but missed on all his balls, no revival of fortunes yet for him!! Bringing up the rear is BBB on -1 point, dreadful week for him picking up points on only 1 game, thankfully for him it was a CS or else he would have been even more negative after missing on his balls!!!!
Time for the Christmas break for the players, a chance recharge those batteries and in Beefy’s case maybe even think about starting the engine!!!!! Still all to play for, so have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and we will see you in 2020 for the conclusion of this seasons league!!

Apologies for the late submission of these scores but I've been busy preparing to celebrate the birthday of someone very special.....me.
Stairs has been going through a bad run recently, dropping to the foot of the overall table, but this week saw him return to form with a table topping 20 points to give him hope of catching the pack. Stairs scored on 6 matches and was the only player from either division to get the gamball result correct. His only correct score just happened to be the bonus to give him a healthy lead over his fellow struggler, Snooty, in second place. Snooty's dramatic recent improvement continued as he scored on a division's high of 7 games, including 3 correct scores. What should have been a spectacular week for him was ruined by his balls as he lost points on both his gamball and bonus. Amelia was the other player to score in double figures from 6 correct predictions, no correct scores and, of course, no balls.
A gap then to Lady Jane and BaggieOne who both scored 6 points but from very different routes. Lady Jane got half of her predicted results correct but failed with all her balls, while BaggieOne just got 2 results correct but was helped by one of them being his bonus which he got spot on.
Not a good week for the front runners. MightyBrom scored a not so mighty 5 points and missed a great opportunity to seize the initiative in the search for promotion. Joker returned to the form of past seasons, scoring a miserable 3 points, but that was still better than runaway leader Twerton who had his worst week of the season with just a single point. We will see what this week has done to make the promotion chase more interesting!
