QPR & Leeds vs WBA - Match Thread

I don't usually comment after a game immediately as I'm caught up in the emotions! The morning after I have mixed feelings but feel positive in our direction. I thought we played superb in spells and for 25-30 mins in the second half we bossed the game without any end product, I feel Austin will come good, he is quality at this level and when the ball falls for him it will come, not convinced about Zohore yet and HRK will give his all for the cause. I thought the midfield at times looked superb and the interplay, tricks and flicks were a joy! There was one in the second half where there were 4-5 passes and Leeds didn't have a clue.
I don't feel the ball bounced well for us at times and their clearances somehow found their men and at times they were able to relieve the pressure and nullify an attack from us.
Defensively we always looked solid and I think Ajayi looks a great buy for the money! With Hegazi & Gibbs ready to come on soon, defensively were looking ok! Johnstone had a great night, not at fault for the goal and that double save in the first half was world class! Added to the 2 or 3 stops throughout the game, he probably had his best game of the season. I was disappointed to lose to them arseholes but the monkey is off the back now, lets go on another 9 game unbeaten streak and rip the league up. I actually found myself getting excited by our forward play and thought on another day, we would probably get joy. If we play like that with that intensity every week and some more fortune from the forward line, dare I say it, we will pi$$ this league, Leeds knew they were in a game and Bielsa tactically changed his team to dampen our counter attacking prowess.
I think there were as many positives in defeat as there would of been from victory, we've got Cardiff Saturday, win that one and last night will be forgotten about! I'm actually looking forward to games again and seeing what's possible, if somebody offered us 2nd after 10 games beaten once at Leeds, I would of traded a kidney, we are doing well and I believe in the way its going, keep it up Baggies!

That was a great post onetruebaggie posted . Watching the Albion this season is wonderful you know no matter what you will be entertained, I cannot see any side in this division who will finish above us , we have that much flair and ability on the ball and I believe that we will only get better. If Charlie starts to score then someone soon is in for a hiding.
