The frustration I have is up front. In all honesty, I’m not sure you’d make one striker if you put Austin, Zohore and Robson Kanu together. This is our first defeat of the season and I don’t want to make such a big deal of it but I think our lack of firepower will cost us. It’s these big games that really matter, not home to Huddersfield. We were spoiled last year, I recognise that, but we seem to have gone from the sublime to the ridiculous. I really think this needs to be remedied in January, otherwise it’ll be play offs at best again

Disappointing result, but i'm not overly worried. SB had a plan 'B' and we did give it a real go in the second half and we still have plenty of match winners in the squad.
I agree though that we are a little lacking up front. I still think Austin will come good, but zohore and HRK i'm afraid are not up it. HRK maybe as an impact player off the bench but thats it.

We lack up front and our attacking style renders us vulnerable. That apart, this was a sensational performance. I believe there are few teams in the premier league who could give Leeds the runaround like that. Pereira is one of the most exciting players I have ever seen in a Baggies shirt.

After 10 games and 3 away games to the top clubs, we are sitting 2nd in the league.
We are still doing far better then many of us considered possible, so lets celebrate and put more trust in Bilic.
Gayle has not played this season, hindsight shows if we had signed him we would be no better off.
I'm still far happier with our team management then I was this time last year.
Remember Bilic plan is over 2 years not 2 months.

Watched the game, impressed with the performance in the second half, wow, what a team we have developing......now if we had a Gayle type striker to go with the rest of the one touch football that we are now playing, we would walk this league !

“Remember Bilic plan is over 2 years not 2 months”

Well said and isn’t it fantastic to be so excited about the potential after only 2 months.

I also agree that HKR and Zohore, in particular are big disappointments and if we buy a striker in January it could be the promotion piece of the jigsaw.

Almost, no actually, ALL of us watchers can see that we have a really promising squad capable of playing great approach football, and the one obvious thing missing is an effective goal scorer or 2.
Personally I still think Charlie A will come good, but we DEFINITELY need at least 1 more.

If it's so obvious to us then the powers that be must surely see it too?! We'll see in January.

What a long way we've come though, in such a short time! Fantastic work from SB and Co.

Sorry about Natalie Portman and the Monaco residence...

I honestly don’t mind if Albion lose as long as we play well.
On a different note, I gather Tony Pulis was a pundit covering the Leeds game. Looking at what Serge Gnabry did to Tottenham, I’d have been tempted to ask Pulis, ‘So, Tony, in what way did you think Gnabry wasn’t good enough for Albion?’
Cue bluster about fitness or mental readiness.
