Just seen the two goals and WOWZERS! For a natural centre back turned right back playing out of position on the “wrong” side of the pitch, Ferguson sure knows how to play the role. The gallop forward and the shot was class. Good luck getting back into the team Keiran.
It’s great to see him doing so well for us. He seems grounded from what I’ve seen from him on Twitter so hopefully he’ll sign a new contract and stay with us for the next couple of seasons.

Albion's stats this year are astonishing and for all I know may be unprecedented in any division for many years. 15 points won from losing positions which is double that of the next closest team. I heard our strike force described the other day as "potent" because we are top scorers in the league. Ironic when you consider that our "strike force" is yet to score a goal from open play this season. Let's face defenders can score from penalties too. Perhaps we should bring Hegazi in as our new number 9! Seriously though, Austin is the only disappointment in the team. If he could up his game we would be major contenders for promotion, if we are not already.

I wouldn't be too critical of Austin just yet. Yes he is a striker who is not scoring but the team is and he is part of that. He does actually link up well with others and he certainly takes the attention of opposition defences, meaning others have more time and space. Ferguson rightly getting all the plaudits, but there were some very accomplished performances yesterday. I thought Bartley was excellent along with Livermore and Sawyers who kept it simple and tidy without being spectacular. No one let themselves or the team down, just looks like the makings of a very good squad mixing youth and experience.

Absolutely agree with you baggietrousers ![]() For some there ALWAYS has to be a fall guy, if it's not Johnstone, it's Livermore or Bartley or Zahore, now Austin, despite being unbeaten and a cracking team performance yesterday. Sometimes people can't be happy unless they've got something to moan about ![]()

Alarm was deliberately set off at Albion's hotel last night
Leeds must be worried ... !!! West Bromwich Albion players have been pictured supposedly leaving their hotel rooms in the middle of the night after a fire alarm was set off during their overnight stay in Leeds. Slaven Bilic and his players opted to make the trip north to Yorkshire on Monday ahead of their Tuesday night clash with Leeds United at Elland Road. But their pre-match preparations could not have got off to a worse start if a mobile phone picture snapped in the lobby of the club's hotel of choice is to be believed.
