For all discussion of the 2019 EFL Cup, which commences tonight at 8pm with Albion at home to Millwall.

Think it's our year, 3-1 to the Albion.

I think we’ll see plenty of changes tonight. Bond, Furlong, O’Shea, Townsend, Harper will probably get game time and maybe some of the new boys.
2-1 to us.

I really hope we treat this as though it's a competition worth winning, not an excuse for a run out of players who wouldn't
make it into the first team. These cup games are important to us the fans.

Catch 22 for me tonight, part of me would like to see some of the new lads and fringe players start but another part of me would like to see the same team who played in the league to see if it was an off day or if they are genuinely woeful.
However I expect that it will be a completely different team as that is the norm for this cup now.

Happy enough with that team and sounds like they've started well enough, hopefully they'll get the job done.

And then just as Saturday when Millwall hadn't threatened...a free header in the six yard box 1-1 !!
