We are missing Bannan just being able to put his foot on the ball and slow it down a bit.

Charlton 1-0 up on Stoke, contrasting starts to the season so far for those two.

Borner could have done better with that header!!!

Great work by Fletcher puts Reach through on the keeper but he couldn't finish it!!!!

I'm not sure where Reach fits into this team. If Bannan was fit would he be the one left out? He is maybe a better wing back if we played a back 3, but we don't have the CHs to do that.

Harris now put through by Murphy but the defender stops him.

Stoke level at Charlton. Fulham winning, Preston & Hull 2-0 up at home.

1-0 at HT, will take that. We have had the best chances but they have had the best of the play, so far their final ball has let them down. We need to get more possession in midfield, particularly playing two out and out wingers. Wouldn't mind seeing Luongo get on the pitch in the second half. Lee and Reach not having much impact so far.

More chances for us, need to take one of them!!!

Nice move, good run by Murphy, great little ball to Lee ad a nice pass from Lee to Fletcher who put it away from the edge of the box!!!

Pelupessy coming on for Murphy. Good debut for him and between him and Harris we have some good pace and good attacking options. I assume Reach will go out wide and Pelupessy drop into the middle.

Joao has scored on his debut for Reading.

Rhodes on for Fletcher. Fletcher has had a good game, he does a ton of running and took his goal very well. Now lets get some crosses in for Rhodes to attack.
