Welcome, though I wouldn't agree with all your choices as they don't normally have much to say among them - joking. Big Grin

Bunch of villages just west of Ripon - roughly from Fountains Abbey upwards.
I'm sure they're throbbing with dedicated Baggies.

I was raised in pateley bridge which is about 7 miles from fountains.

Which village will you be living in and when do you move.

It is a lovely part of Yorkshire and true down to earth folk live there. You know what I mean. They call a spade a shovel!

Smile You will love it. Not many baggies in that area though

Pateley Bridge is a nice part - 'Summer Wine' area.
I lived near Leeds/Bradford Airport for many years, but never came across another Baggie.

Going to be living in Kirkby Malzeard.
Yes, spades are shovels - proper working countryside.

Kirkby is a nice little village, 2 pubs Henry Jenkins and the Queens arms, (although the village are trying to buy one of them to keep it going.) and a nice little snooker hall with 2 tables.

Hope you will like it there when do you start.

Having glanced at Google Maps and found place names in the vicinity like "Grewelthorpe", "Warthermarske", "Gollinglith Foot", "Blubberhouses" and the frankly fantastic "Booze", I'm now convinced that Yorkshire is nothing more than an elaborate practical joke being practised on us by some Oxbridge student society, who spend their holidays appearing on television and claiming to be miners and cricketers from Ticklethwaite, Sodderby, Sudden Hardcock and Nether Bumhole.
